I'm sorry - I don't think it's strange.

I have 2 friends and they have been my only friends for about the last 20 years and I met them thru where we worked.

I think some people tend to use the word friend too loosely. Most people call their acquaintances friends - when really acquaintances are all they are.

I know lots of people - but only classify 2 as friends. These 2 would drop anything and everything if I needed them and vice versa. I can't say I'd do that for an acquaintance nor them for me - and I wouldn't expect them to.

I totally agree. I tend to doubt anyone who claims they have more than a handful of very close friends, personally. And why wouldn't they be people from the gym, if that is the place where she partakes of her favorite hobby?

Andrea: Well, they had questions about her activity at the club, had she been in the gym, wanting to just verify if she had been in that day, like reference to time, where she spent her time that day, if she had the children with her, and so they began to contact me about that.

I just listened to the entire video interview of AL and from what was discussed, answered, etc in the video there is no relation with did Terri go to the gym on June 4th? At all. She discusses how very very little she ever spoke with Terri when she was at the gym but nothing in reference to her at the gym that day...

What was significant to me was that AL said that the convo and interaction that she had with Terri that day was the most EVER she had interacted with her[this was out of the ordinary, out of character for Terri]that Terri usually was very much quiet and did her own thing,never having made an effort before to talk at length with AL. And AL saying she felt like Terri was "making it a point" to show the pic of Kyron from that morning. Terri telling her where she HAD been at, and the amount of time of the SF[all very odd to someone you have never had a convo with before]..

IMO it was very apparent that AL was not only NOT a friend to Terri but that she said she very much was on Kyrons side and the side of Kyrons mom and dad. This interview was very telling to me. It confirms even more IMO that Terri was "setting" up alibis for the hours of June 4th...

But ABSOLUTELY nothing about the gym being visited on June 4th by Terri. So I was unable to vote in the poll as the question asked about info given in interview and whether from that I believed Terri did or did not visit on June 4th. The info was just not there for me to base an answer for the poll given the wording of the question.

Enjoyed seeing a video and hearing what's going on in the GJ. Andrea surprised me in that she was so open, and seems very credible. I'm surprised also that she describes TMH as so quiet a person in her impressions of her at the gym.

I really enjoyed your thought provoking post. AL seemed very credible to me me too. You are right she did not say if she saw her at the gym that day. She may have worked shift work, but...? I have voted "yes" to the gym, as I believe LE is looking at the less than 1/1/2 hrs. that is in question, so to speak. Really liked your post, as well as your others...thumbs up.

could this be because their usual interactions were when this woman was at work, doing her job, which consists of dealing with a number of members and staff at any given time? And that Terri was there to concentrate on her workout? The conversations I have with people while I'm working or they are on their jobs are a heck of a lot shorter and to the point than when we meet on 'neutral ground'.

FYI, I work out at this gym and it used to be a 24 hour fitness from a couple blocks over since last spring. They built a brand new state of the art gym and added new people on staff, so I check in and they do not necessarily know me even though I went to the old one a couple blocks away for 8 years, but the new staff at the new one does not know me at all.

The point was from this lady's perspective "it seemed off" (my interpetation)...don't blame Smooth, blame the witness for perhaps for her opinion; she apparently has had personal encounters, that perhaps if TH showed her a picture of Kyron at the grocery story with a sick baby in her arms is unsual??? This witness to me seemed very credible.

The daycare was probably used, and maybe the showers, and IMO not the weights.

I do! But then again, I don't get extremely sweaty when I work out and I am not even close to a body builder. On my work out days I often stay in them the whole day. Drop off kids, work out, run errands, go home and clean, cook etc, maybe meet a friend for coffee, pick up kids....all in the same clothes.

I don't consider Terri a 'body-builder'. She worked toward that goal over several months five years ago for a single competition. I see no evidence she has continued down that path; in fact Kaine even said this was a single, isolated event. IMO, she's just a mom who goes to the gym to workout.

No, it does not make her a criminal mastermind. What actually makes her a mastermind is her silence and unwilling to help bring Kyron home, her failed lie detector tests and her sketchy movements, trying to portray herself as a doting mommy who was trying to make her baby soothed, and then brought the sick child to a public gym, and threw away or showered away god knows what evidence. Or the MFH plot. It goes way beyond her love of CSI and Dexter. Oh, and how could I forget her sexting another man days after Kyron went missing?

It would also depend on what kind of clothes she wears to work out in. I wear a long t-shirt and loose-fitting capri-length pants. I have seen everything from skin-tight lycra bike shorts to raggedy t-shirts. Some just look like very casual street clothes, but others would really not be appropriate for non-exercise activities. But I do think it's a little surprising someone wouldn't change clothes after the workout. (Assuming someone doesn't have a health impairment, as was mentioned by another poster.) JMO

I think you've nailed it, grayjay! If TH was involved in a crime as many of us think -- showering off the evidence would be very necessary -- and she knows (from her CSI fix) that home showers/bathrooms are very easy to gather evidence from (drains/drain traps, etc.) - not to mention her need to change her clothes that day. As others have pointed out - what a perfect place to dispose of pesky DNA and hair fiber evidence.

I think LE would need a warrant to search the drains at the gym, and I doubt Terri would have gone into the gym with blood on her clothes in the first place. At that point, they didn't suspect her, so I doubt they were looked at. By now, any evidence that went down the drain, either at they gym or at home, would be gone.
It wouldn't be unusual to find hair from Kyron on her clothes as she lived in the same house and handled the laundry. Any other DNA might be explained too, unless it was a large amount of blood. And if so, I think she would be smart enough to discard or bury that clothing.
