Right now, we are all trying to solve the Nancy Guthrie mystery, and the public focus is immense, as it should be. But at the same time, FBI data has revealed that 50% of all homicides in America are still unsolved. That's over 250,000 UNSOLVED MURDERS since 1980. If you have been touched by a cold case and are looking for answers, please join me on this thread so we can put your unsolved case on our radar. Our Websleuths are ready and willing to help!

I would recommend the Shawn Raymond Case based out of Algonac, MI. The Michigan State Police are the investigating agency. Let me know if you want more details.

My friend Kelley Brannon disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 2020. The small town police force did not and does not have the expertise to solve the crime. Her friends and I have loads of interesting data that has not seen the light of day, and points left unaddressed even with a two part Paramount+ episode.

I’d love to know what it would actually take to get proper investigators on the case and find out what really happened to Kelley.

Many in the UK. Unsolved disappearances of April Fabb, Stephen Newing, Pamela Exall, Gerry Redmond ,Charlene Downes & Harry Baines.
Unsolved double murder of Frieda Hunter & Joe Gallagher. Unsolved murder of Florence Port. Florence Port and Harry Baines are from my hometown Fleetwood, Lancashire.

Wow this is crazy to me! That’s a lot of missing people. Prayers for all those families affected by it. The not knowing has to be the hardest part

Do you have any ideas as to who may have been responsible?

I would like to see the Russell and Shirley Dermond case solved.

We (Kelley's friends) certainly do, although we try to keep an open mind. But when the last person to see her (in a town where neither was from) was her boyfriend who was previously arrested for DV, it's hard not to suspect one POI over another.

We have so much information on this case that has never seen the light of day. The small town police force has been woefully inept and unwilling to bring in the expertise required to solve the case. All that, plus first-hand experience with the unscrupulousness of many supposed true crime "advocates" has made Kelley's disappearance a devastating nightmare.

Additionally, her mother was her only living relative capable of putting pressure on LE, but she passed away not long after Kelley disappeared. Captain Jason Rountree of the Live Oak Police Department has been quite cruel and dismissive of Kelley's friends, and completely unwilling to work with us in any capacity. He told us, "Maybe she ran off with antifa." That pretty much says it all. It's really sad and unbelievably frustrating, and it's a story that needs to be told.
