Thanks for all the comments and insight, everyone. So far, the poll is much closer than I had imagined.

I did give consideration to how the poll question is worded. I wanted to include something to the effect "from what has been made public so far", but the character limits of the poll question necessitate keeping it simpler and more straightforward. JMO, but I like a simpler audience survey poll with "yes or no" options, rather than many choices. It's a little easier that way to see which way the wind is blowing, IMO. And poll responses are limited to 72 hours, so things may change a lot in the future. We'll see, I guess.

FWIW, I think she will be arrested and charged with "something", eventually. The potential "something" is what is really interesting to contemplate, IMO.

I have to keep reminding myself that there has not yet been a Grand Jury indictment in this case! Holey buckets. Just ponder that a moment-- no indictment YET, with all we know so far! Yikes. And you all know there is MORE that we don't know yet, right?! The prosecution has not shown all their cards yet, IMO.

I think she had a part in Coopers murder. I don't know to what degree.

I was able to partially overlook the bizarre actions at the funeral, but my *thud* moment was when I found out she said to RH,

"Well, did you say too much?"

Say too much about what exactly?
This. You hit the nail on the head with my thoughts

I wish I could exactly cite what LE said but here's the paraphrase which is most provocative: This is not a conventional marriage. That leads me to think there is definitely more that will be revealed.

Kind of OT -- but don't you think it's sad, in this day and age, that even if you were absolutely innocent of something, just about everyone would lawyer up?? I'd like to think that if you have nothing to hide, if you're innocent, you don't need a lawyer...but in today's world, I'm not so sure.

While I'm not participating on the forum, I've been following the case in the media. LH was probably the mastermind of the plan to get rid of Cooper. She couldn't bring herself to do the deed but knew that JH would. :moo:

I voted no. If they had anything on Leanna, she would have already been arrested and charged. I'm not looking for anymore big surprises in this case. I think we pretty much know all they have.

I tend to agree. I think she smells here. I think she may be in on it. But unless they uncover much more, she won't be charged.

But I also think there's more than enough for a conviction of felony murder of Ross Harris, now.

Unless some smoking gun like a text from her to her husband saying something like "is he dead yet?" comes to light. I think there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that she will ever be charged in relation to Cooper's death.

I would wait to see how things are going because an attorney costs thousands of dollars. Who has that kind of spare money around?

I know what you're saying; she did get a lawyer, though, so I don't know how to interpret that. I mean, part of me says, "why do you need a lawyer, if you didn't do anything wrong?" (because I'm equating a lawyer with defending you) -- but then someone upthread brought up some great points that a lawyer could help you navigate the legal process, which I'd never thought of before.

Not unless they find some unbelievable things on her computer. I think LH appears (whether true or not) to be a victim of RH's sexting and negligence (or murder) more than an accomplice. I think it would take a lot to turn a jury against her, especially once the down and dirty details of RH's infidelity are spelled out.

Yes, she needs one for sure. I wonder what she will use for money?

The fund for them is being returned to donors

I suppose there are those who will give her money. The Scamanthonys raked it in

Not to be argumentative, but infidelity and murder are two different things. Is sexting really infidelity?
Yes, I think RH killed Cooper.

Perhaps they are offering their services for free b/c it is a high-profile case. They might expect to make money later on.

I have a question for the attys --

IF they wanted to try RH on felony murder because they know that will stick w/out going into premeditation and first-degree (because of one reason or another they feel they lack enough evidence to prove it) and wait that out to play it's course...

Then once he's convicted charge LH for conspiracy to commit 1st degree murder (or accomplice or whatever they can find on her they know can make stick) so that...

** trials are guaranteed to be separate
** one cannot turn on the other to plead to a lesser charge

What is the legality & likelihood of something like that happening?

On what has been presented so far, I voted no. Her behavior is odd, but not enough to prosecute IMO. Unless more comes to the surface!

Yes, I think RH killed Cooper.

I personally count sexting as infidelity but some people don't.

He was also meeting up with his sext buddies and LE said there were texts from Leanna indicating she knew he was cheating on her. So IMO there was more than sexting to his infidelity.

Personally...

Anything that you keep hidden from your partner when it relates to communicating with someone else is cheating.

It may not be physical cheating, but emotional cheating it is

bbm

wow -- I didn't know that.....my understanding was that JRH told his sexting buddy (revealed by Detective on stand during the JCHearing) that his wife knew he had had an affair and that she had forgiven him AND that conversation also revealed that he had no conscience.

I really hadn't heard that there was texting evidence that LH knew that JRH was cheating on her -- we only had ""JRH""'s ''word' during convo/sexting revealed by LE

I can't find the exact part in the transcript right now but here's an article with the reference:

Harris' wife told police the pair were having intimacy issues, according to Stoddard. Texts indicate that she knew he was cheating on her, he said.
