Does Anyone here think Casey Anthony is innocent?

Everyone acts differently and also is coached by legal staff on how to act.

My "legal staff" could coach me til the cows came home, and I would NOT be able to pull off the "ice princess" act KC is managing. This is her FIRST BORN child! Anyone with children will tell you they'd be a wreck.

It's interesting that when a newcomer arrives with a question as to Caseys innocent, people go off topic and can't really wait to stop talking about it BECAUSE THE NEW ONE DOESN'T SCREAM QUILTY!!!!!

Otter, I disagree. The presumption of innocence on any citizen in our County in detention accussed of a crime applies to any and all citizens who live in our country. The law applies to us all. Do you want your case spplattered all over the nation???

The only people that have an obligation to reserve judgement of guilt are a judge and a jury. Do you think the prosecution presumes she is innocent? Legally she is presumed innocent and cannot be discriminated against b/c of her charge until she is convicted, like if she were to aply for a job, credit, you know something that is protected by equal rights. Outside of that scope, we are all free to say she is guilty as charged.

I'm guessing you mean "a new poster" yet someone who has been reading for awhile?

I've always found that all my opinions, whether popular or not, were debated respectfully here at WS. This thread has been much more civil than many.

How do you think the thread has gone OT?

You're a post up on me. I've been reading the forums since this case began, but only joined to comment recently.

I truly don't believe this has anything to do with (y)our "newbie" status. The people on this forum have devoted many hours to examining all evidence and have formed their opinions as to KC's guilt or innocence. And that was the question you were asking.

I am sure you meant GUILTY, but I don't understand what you mean as far as your comment. I haven't noticed people rushing off topic here. They simply have stated why they do not feel she could be innocent at this point.

I am not trying to change your mind.

I am only stating the reasons why I won't change mine.

Your entitled to your opinion, we are giving you ours on why we believe she is guilty:blowkiss:

people go off topic here in EVERY thread (right mods?) not just to the newcomers with a different opinion.

excuse me? you must take minute to visit other threads because unfortunately going off topic does not discriminate.

I don't know, I'm willing to listen to any theory that fits the facts and shows she is innocent. I wasn't kidding when I said I really do try to come up with one.

Casey Anthony deserves a fair trial by an impartial jury of her peers.

That said...

Is she innocent?
Are you kidding me!?!? NO! She's not innocent! For crying out loud, if I don't see my cat for one day, I'm looking in corners, closets, under beds to try to find her, and am worried out of my mind! You don't just let your child be missing in the hopes that whoever stole her is taking care of her for 31 days!!!
Mothers who are worried about their children don't go partying it up in clubs, cooking dinner for their boyfriends, getting tattoos, and stealing from friends for shopping trips to Target to buy lingerie!
If the bus my children rides is ten minutes late, I'm on the phone! 31 DAYS! Are you serious??? If you think there's a reasonable explanation for that, along with all of the other stuff, I dont' really know what to say.

I honestly cannot stand back and ignore the fact that an innocent baby girl was murdered and that all of the evidence points to her mother doing it... to wait for the completion of trial to have an opinion. She did it, and I consider it up to me and to a lot of people that feel the same way to stand up for justice for -Caylee-. Her mom -has- an attorney. Caylee doesn't, and her family doesn't seem able to scream for justice for her at this time.

I don't live in Florida. I won't be sitting on any jury. If I did live and Florida, and they called me to serve, I would flat out tell them I think she's guilty and that -I-, personally can't sit on her jury.

No one can really ask more than that.

FEH.

I actually like it when we have these kinds of threads. It keeps me on my toes and forces me to look at every angle and possibility so that I know that I am right and seeing things the right way. When a new case came up I didn't want to know anything about it or what anyone else thought and I got the discovery and trial transcripts and read them all over myself, and looked at all the crime scene photos myself (You learn to separate yourself from the victim and pretend what you are looking at isn't really a real person) and if I didn't believe them, Barry S could tell me he was innocent and without DNA I wouldn't help. We need people of all opinions. It is one of the reasons WS is the best. With this many sets of eyes looking over a case, no stone goes unturned here. Welcome!

I tried to come up with something in the beginning...I got nothing.
I'd LOVE to hear a plausible theory pointing to her being innocent. It would give me something to chew on between document dumps.

Sometimes for fun I try to put together a scenario in my head that involves KC being innocent. I try to figure out if there is any possible way to explain the hair in the trunk, the 31 days, the partying, and the lies about the job, the nanny, and the phone call from Caylee. I try to put together the ideas CA floated that KC was silent/lying for a reason - protecting Caylee. I try to figure out how many people would have to be in on this frame job: friends, former co-workers, imaginary nanny, boyfriends, other boyfriends, a meter reader, and of course LE and the FBI. I think I am pretty good at figuring out possible ways to string facts together and determine what happened. I am at a total loss on this one.

BTW I admire those of you who can say you could be an impartial juror on this one. I don't think I could, mostly because I would be asking too many questions.

Dawn: Wait! The trial can't be over yet! What about the Brackenwood house?!?!?!? How did KC get Zanny's name?!??! Why did the A's change their brand of garbage bags?!?!??! :D
Court Security: Please get this lady out of here and send it the alternate ASAP!:cop:

yes that is what I wanted to say and you said it for me. I try to figure out ways she may not be guilty. There is always something that gets in the way. like you said to many people would have to be out to get her.

I always come back to the decom in the trunk of the car. And more but don't want to carry on to long.

I find this question interesting. And still after all this time I am thinking again, it really must stop you would think that I did not have a life.

so, you feel Baez's pain, right? No wonder he has so many people working with him to come up with something.

you are correct in your statement that I bolded above. But the defense will have a bucket full of evidence as well. We just don' t know what that is as it hasn't been leaked like the state evidence.

What kind of evidence are you suggesting? If you think the defence has a bucketful of evidence, then you must have some idea of the type that will exonerate the perp. Suggestions?

Uh..Amen to that.

the only evidence the defense has is actually in a box, not a bucket, and she's sitting in a funeral home waiting to be buried.
