snipped from KK:

But I think your post is about the best argument for the signing of the ransom note--"VICTORY!"--pointing to Patsy Ramsey.

If that is in effect what Patsy beleived and that's why Pam used the word in defining Patsy's death, that pretty much explains it to me.
Makes sense to me!

You are right, Cathy, but I took Bobbarita's post to mean that the sick and twisted part was Patsy's invovlement in the death of her daughter and then her sister to declare her "victory". The word victory is a big part of this case as it was used in the ransom note and I believe that Pam's use of that word only cements the fact that Patsy did write that note.
I am also a Christian and believe me, I don't take lightly any remarks about my Saviour, but I believe (and truly hope) that Bobbarita didn't mean to slight the Christians on this board.

I did not mean to slight Christians. Thanks to all who calmly recognized that. Hopefully that puts an end to it.

I raised three girls...so, I don't know alot about 9 or 12 year old boys, and what they like. My brother never liked them, but he is just one person.

I have a 10 year old boy. He likes stuffed animals just fine. He definitely finds video games infinitely more interesting, but he can still be charmed by a stuffed animal, even at his advanced age. LOL.

What's up with the screwed up quotes?

I didn't say that, I am the mom of a son, who at 12... still has a room full!

I also took no offense at those words. I understood their meaning perfectly.

What IS sick and twisted is anything evil done in the name of God- terrorist activity included and by whatever name you call God.
And for that there WILL be atonement.

I have to admit that I do have a hard time understanding Christianity and completely agreed with Bobbarita's post....after you explained it Cathy I felt just like Koldkase,it actually gave me goosebumps,if death is victory, then yes, that explains a lot about the RN

yes, death is victory by salvation,so SBTC=saved by the cross, makes even more sense as to why Patsy signed it that way,IMO.

I seem to recall Jesus' words "I will give you VICTORY over death". Salvation and the promise of an afterlife with our Heavenly Father is our victory.

I was scratching my head there ames, thinking you'd said you had 3 girls.LOL.

I bet BPD didn't search those boxes, but they should have taken a complete inventory of everything she took out of that house.
I don't think anything...not so much as a sock...should have been taken out of that house until it had been gone over from top to bottom with a fine-toothed comb by LE.

I agree,myteemouse..Pam going thru the house and removing boxes and bags was nothing short of a train wreck for the case!
BTW,I've always felt that the particular items she removed indicated Patsy and John were seriously considering leaving the country...passports+mementos=someone(s) is considering getting the heck out of the usa and never coming back!!

It's my very humble opinion that she is one who could be brought up on obstruction of justice charges.

But then again, it's hard to charge someone with obstruction when they have LE's permission and a police escort as well....

maybe they could charge people in authority who blocked and messed up but then proving who was the main person to blame would be harder now so many years after the fact.

I only have a daughter, aged 24!

I think I would have made one exception and that was clothes for the funeral for the family. Pam could have retrieved them but only that and even then under close scrutiny.

I think Patsy had already decided she was never going back to the house.

Not only that, but police lent her a jacket that said "police" on it so as not to attract attention. Isn't that a crime in itself- a non-LE wearing any part of a police uniform?

Not really. They should have records of who was LE in 1996. If they don't, the IRS will.
