Does Pam Paugh Know Anything About JB's Murder?

I really have a hard time seeing a child or even a young man throwing in the bit about the "two gentlemen" watching over JonBenet or the suggestion that JR be well-rested. That's a woman and a mother talking. All of those big words spelled correctly, the edit with "v" mark, the use of attaché, right down to the accent mark over the E...that wasn't a child or a young man, that was a Francophile woman who doesn't have any idea what a real RN sounds like but was well-taught in grammar and writing and can't stop herself from being overly dramatic and elaborate.

The author cares that John be rested....as in not stressed out, exhausted.

Again, it sounds like a woman and a mother talking. What boy or young man is even going to consider the emotional state of the person they're addressing in this RN, much less make specific reference to it? They wouldn't. They'd be concerned with the details of the delivery, not the personal thoughts and feelings of the person they want the ransom from. But a woman who is a mother would. It would be second nature to her to be aware of and concerned about the sensibilities of those around her, especially her own family members - like her husband, who was her first concern when she was told she had cancer.

Sounds to me like those experts thought Patsy was a closer match than Burke.

This is what I thought. The whole thing could make sense if they were covering for him. BUT... the Ramseys let Burke be interviewed when they wouldn't let themselves be interviewed. Also, they let him leave the house on that day without them. That is why I don't belive Burke did this.

Ya know....that's a whole other angle. Maybe Auntie Pam was jealous off all that Patsy had with the beautiful house, the beautiful family and esp the beautiful daughter. Hey, at this point I would not rule it out. A sisters jealousy can be a very very strange creature. I am going through that now with my older sister. I made better choices than her in life and I have more than she does and she has snapped and instead of looking at what she can do to better herself she is focusing all her energy on me and she truly hates me right now. Heck I am just glad she lives over 5 hours away and has never been to my home and does not know where I live. I would not put anything past her.

So, she bought her a bracelet? I see nothing weird about that. I guess she wouldve been better off if she wouldve ignored her neice and told Patsy: better YOU than me have these kids and all the things you have to do for them.

I dont think she knows anything except her sister was heartbroken about losing JonBenet and she agreed to go into the house for her and get MEMENTOS that Mrs Ramsey wanted as she never wanted to step foot in that house again. I think they both cared about JonBenet. I have no daughter, you wouldnt BELIEVE the stuff I buy for my sons girlfriend, shes kind of like the daughter I never had and i like buying girly stuff. Im guessing Aunt Pam got the same kick.
They seem like a close family, I never heard of any hostilities between them. If there were, please let me know?

what a fake.she wouldn't even go to him when he was upset at night over her death..how cold.IMO,it's likely she was glad she was going to be getting his attention again.

I don't think Pam did it,but if she'd been jealous of her,wouldn't she have turned on her,and talked about what she knew/and or what evidence she might have taken from the house? they seemed to all share the same deep,dark secrets,IMO.(no flames,pls...don't make me get the hose !) my opinion only.
..seems to me they all stuck together pretty tightly.

I was reading through this fascinating post and went and checked an email I sent yesterday. I used the word 'hence.' Hmmmm, so who uses a word like that? Well, I'm a middle aged Brit and was writing to another middle aged Brit. Also, I would use acute or grave accent when needed. Can't do it on here though as I don't know how!

I use that word "hence", too. Always have. I grew up in the Northeast. I am college educated, as was PR. I don't think it's a Southern colloquialism.

I concur: Pam jealous of Patsy? Possible. Pam had lots of love for JonBenet and no way no how she would harm a hair on her head.

Lol, Dave, your mother probably would have no problem with a scenario where the 'fat ugly sister' was wearing Patsy's jacket when fashioning the garrote ("Pam aways wanted to wear expensive clothes like Patsy - so this was a unique opportunity for her!")

It it was her, I can't see ALL of them being as forgiving. Maybe PR and Nedra, but JR? I don't have a sister, so I can't speak from experience about the bonds of sibling loyalty, but strangling, bashing, and sexually assaulting my child to death would certainly stretch the boundaries of it. I can't see many people giving a sibling a pass for something like that.

I think they had to be told the basics, otherwise they wouldn't understand the seriousness of keeping their mouth's shut about everything.

Burke was probably told, if you are having a problem in the bathroom, call for your father.

Nope, I do not for one second think that Aunt P did it. I believe though, that she knows more than she is saying. AND HENCE the reason that she carted out baby teeth, passports, golfclubs, paintings, and only God knows what else...on the pretense of getting "funeral clothes".
