OK - I thought I was an a TO, and now think I am not on a TO - but I have ZERO problem with the fact I could be, because media has been messing with me a bit, and I have expressed frustration, and I want to clarify what my issues are, regarding TH's FB in the media versus what could be closer to truth.
One thing I have to say, because I truly do need a break if nothing new is coming up - and my guilt over my opinions is taking a toll - is that, regardless of what one hears, if you are a "googler" or have an fb page, since day one of this case, many of us all visited TH's public page.
1.) If you live on the East Coast: Reminder: please keep in mind that when viewing any public page of any West Coaster, posts will show as posted in EAST COAST TIME. No one seems to understand this, I have a pet peeve here.
2.) Approved Media says TH was obsessed with FB. My Observation: TH's page is now private, but I am wondering if her "friend" membership grew exponentially in the days after Kyron went missing, while still public - and if her friend base and participation grew in the week Kyron went missing, from those reaching out after they heard about her son, and before other public Missing Kyron forums were created - if so, should there be a logical problem with this? I don't necessarily have a bias against this activity happening.
3.) Approved Media says TH was always on FB, including posting a picture of Kyron with his science project the morning her vanished. My Observation: The picture we all see with Kyron in front of his science project was posted Pacific Coast Time, within the timeframes of alibi, if there is one - my issue on this for this thread is the west coast/east coast, and accuracy vs. rumor. I don't have a link to support this photo that is WS/LE/media approved, but wildfire is rampant on timeframes, and if you never saw the original, you may believe what you will. My issue with this as an alibi is on hold.
4.) Approved Media says TH was addicted to FB games. My Observation: She could have received "gifts" from a facebook game throughout the day. I cant stand video games, or FB game/application fans at all, but posts like this do (A) not mean this was more important than her children, (B) not give any proof that she was goofing around on FB the day Kyron went missing. Most likely, she received "gifts" in a game - more importantly, her wall would have shown reciprocation - like her participating in response, and if nothing showed a participation in any game until her page went private, that's what we've got. This is brought up in media, and its up for speculation. I am speculating that perceived activity is being misinterpreted.
5.) Approved Media says TH bee-lined it to FB regarding telling an already increasing friend-list that she was "hitting the gym". My Observation: TH may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but let's just say: what if she did take time to "like" every single person's post on her wall, got on the FB not every day, but like every other day. After many days passed like this, she posted she was "hitting the gym." If that's a little crossing the line, I want to link this:

Most likely in my opinion, this would be the day TH made this comment, and media captured it, having followed her movements. It's local KATU video dated 6/10, and she's not alone, Kaine is also hitting the gym. I'd like people to think about this in the midst of all this flurry. Kaine also hit the gym. Who knows if she hit the gym before this, but, she didn't FB anything regarding the gym till around this time frame. Judge as you will - I have no problem, I have also judged. But it is VERY different from "hitting the gym: say 8:00 pm the night Kyron went missing, which is what media is implying. By this video, I personally think that what we are speculating on - info on a private page - was posted arounf this time, and it makes sense to me.

Hello. Kaine *** may have changed his many days before the TH did (My opinion, after she "hit the gym"), or around then **** but this is where TH's profile becomes private. Until then, all of us were allowed and okay to stop by and scope out her scene. But TH waited far beyond any other family member to change her pic - all family private profiles did this, and even private profile pictures are pubic information. This is also an observation made by approved media. People's profile pictures are always available. Not matter what can be seen, the time frame of profile picture changing is fair game in my mind, and in TOS. Kaine's profile has always been private, but there is no privacy about profile pictures. He changed his right away, and Th did not.
My questions: How is it so easy to take all of the above and still make it sound like TH is an FB fanatic, and media franticly portraying a Facebook obsessed mother?
Why is it not possible to think TH was NOT "always" on Fb as the media seems to portray? Was it because she was also accepting "friend requests" from people across the nation helping out or wanting to give her support? Going online?
What I see is someone who had the whole continent on her page within 24 hours, and potentially was trying to accept this, but still should have changed her profile picture, regardless. The child that is missing is what made people reach out to her via FB. That said, she didn't actually play games or make updates, and her first big post ("hitting the gym") is very "iffy" to many. But even moreso, media implying that it was posted the day Kyron went missing, which is untrue from my understanding, is misleading from what could be closer to Up For Speculation behavior. Basically, that's the issue I am having with reports. Anyone getting bombarded may potentially behave the way TH did in the early days.
Minus NOT changing her profile picture to the "Kyron is Missing" poster until AFTER people freaked out about the gym comment,*** my assessment*** a week later. This is my focus.
Once we got to critique the "hitting the gym" comment, TH went private...and FINALLY changed her profile pic. To me, THAT'S more telling. Given FB media stories, and how it all plays out, what is the most fishy to everyone else here? I mostly see that it was that she didn't change her FB profile picture, when many friends posting words of comfort had done so, including her husband.
To what extent would you be updating FB if you were in her position?
