And I've been told by a reputable source that Cesar Milan charges about $3,000/month for these services! Who's going to foot that bill???Cesar Milan has a facility, and I've seen him take in dangerous dogs and rehabilitate them, so maybe something like that is where this dog will go.

Thank you for calling attention to the true victim in this case, which is NOT the vicious dog- no way, no how is it a victim!!!:banghead:While someone is going to have to pay goodness knows how much to warehouse this dog and people have been funding lawyers for it (!) consider this: Kevin Vincente's single, Guatemalan mother, who works as a Maid (presumably this is why she had to work and didn't have the pick of excellent childcare while she did it), has had to give up her job to care for him, resulting in them losing their home:

The family faces crippling costs to get him the medical and psychological help he needs, in the long term, presuming they even can.

Uhhh...pretty sure the taxpayer will be footing the bill for the hospital care, rehab, and long term care too!
When people decide to donate money for a worthy cause they have EVERY right to decide who they want to donate it to! I don't have a choice regarding where my tax dollars go or who they support but I do have a choice when I donate to charities.
I ONLY donate to animal related charities and yes the dog is a victim too. Now that I think about it and see the hatred expressed towards that poor animal I think maybe I should donate a few bucks to the pups defense fund.
(Edited to Add -- This case is over and Mickey is now at his new home, nevertheless the group that advocated for Mickey is also working to save other dogs and fight breed specific legislation so they certainly deserve my support and have received some).
Another case of a pit bull mauling a toddler-- this time a 2 year old. Thankfully, the responding police shot the dog at the scene. At least THIS time, a judge won't have to make any "tough" decisions about this dog.
I tend to disagree with those who opine that particular breeds are not more violent and unpredictable than others. I would be just fine with ordinances prohibiting this breed.

Exactly.....like this story begs to question if the mother will have to answer for leaving her infant alone with an animal known to be violent. http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/25021087/2014/03/19/8-month-old-baby-mauled-by-dog-in-tempeI think time, effort and money should be spent educating idiots that would put together any dog and a two year old without supervision, knowledge of the breed and the requirements for owning one should be changed.
Legal Gun owners need permits. We see what unlicensed gun owners do everyday on the news.
Dogs are licensed, why aren't their owners? At a minimum there should be some sort of basic skills test.
