NEW YORK (AP) — Dolly Parton has postponed her first Las Vegas residency in 32 years, citing “health challenges,” the country legend shared on social media Sunday night.

She did not provide specific details, writing, “As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!”...

Over the years she has come across as a sweet, lovely person. 9 to 5, good movie.

Dolly is a wonderful lady, incredibly kind and talented. She has been through a lot this year with the loss of her beloved husband and now these health issues she is having. I hope and pray she recovers well from the procedures she is having. I have tremendous respect and admiration for all the things she does to give back, like the millions of books she donates to children around the world with her Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, encouraging children to read from birth till they begin school because she knows how important this is.

I hope everything is okay with her. She's incredible.

I listen to her rock album quite a bit. As someone who grew up listening to hard rock, I love that she did that album with guys like Steven Tyler and Rob Halford. Her spin on those classic songs (and some cool originals) was fantastic.

She is an American treasure.

Not surprised. That is a tremendous amount of work. And I think that the death of her husband affected her as well.

I think he was her "rock".

“I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious,” Freida said. “She’s been a little under the weather and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. Thank you all for lifting her up. Your love truly makes a difference.”

In Freida’s originally posted the following:

“Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me. She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!

I hope she'll be ok. I don't listen to her music but she is an international treasure IMO.
