Dominic Casey: Motion to Strike Notice of Deposition & Motion for Protective Order#1

Does he not want to talk about his various business ventures and prior debts to others?
In DC's defense, it's been a while since he ripped anyone off....
Looks like he either did not show up to his hearings when served (the rule on show cause), moved or gave incorrect addresses so that the sheriff could not serve him (dismissals), or maybe he even paid up-After pushing the limits on these people until they had no alternative but legal action-

Interesting! Thanks Just Jayla.

Looks like Dominic is not unfamiliar with the court system at all.

RHornsby from his q and a thread was asked what is up with Dominick not wanting to be deposed, you gottta love this answer:
"You don't fight a subpoena this hard unless you have something to hide. If I recall, Judge Strickland said there was not privilege with him and Baez anymore, if that is the case, he will eventually testify."

He's right. People that dont have anything to hide, talk to the police, take lie detector tests, do whatever they can do to help the police in anyway they can, after all we are talking about the murder of little Caylee in this case. Quite clearly this guy has a part in all this too, he's just as bad as the rest of that family. He ought to start talking FFS.

Does anyone else get so annoyed that this family actually think that they can get away with all this? Lying toads, they ought to be locked up too, along with DC if he's with holding information.l

dom on day he went to get Caylee's body, look.jpg

The look on his face is somber.

Wow - 15 corporations and 1 charity dissolved, many of them administrative dissolutions due to lack of annual report it would seem. It looks like this guy just opens companies up and lets them atrophy (or something else). Strange, even for FL, to have that many in such a few years.

Just and FYI......in FLorida....to file an annual report includes a fee, and to file a dissolution requires a fee. Perhaps,(only speculation here) he just chose to allow the entity to be dissolved. I don't believe there would be any financial penalty for that, and if he later chose to reinstate, he would just have a those fees and late fees and that would be it. He would risk losing the rights to the names, but really that's it.

That's what I was thinking - but I am reminded of when I lived in FL and many construction contractors would open a company, build homes, and close the company in order to get out of warrantees and other outstanding obligations. The builders who built our house there did that and nullifed all the guarantees, then opened up under a different name and built in the same subdivision. It was a huge pain in the tush. We had two corporations there and IIRC, it wasn't an exorbitant amount to file annual reports. It almost looks like he let them expire on purpose. But still 15 of them! That's a little more than simple ADD.

We had a problem here with a construction company that was knocking on people's doors and telling them they had hail damage, pointing out dents and knicks in their siding, and that it would need to be repaired-Of course they could do it at a discount...Anyway, they would take the down payments and run. Seasoned citizens were the usual victims, the guys running the scam used different entity names.

Looks like Dom's lawyer, James Turner, (at the time he incorporated Central Florida Constructors, Inc.) had to take DC to court for 'indebtedness.'

And if these are all the DC we know and love, he sure does move around a lot.... I've moved around northern Va. a few times, too, so who knows?

The state may not even bring any of this up, but they could portray DC as a grifter of sorts-I am curious what the plaintiffs in his civil suits have to say about the dissolutions/'indebtedness' DC got into with them.

Of course this is MOO, and I will write in advance that I have no way to prove beyond a doubt that any of these companies are his, with the exception of the companies that share the same address as D & A Investigations.

Unless a Fl. Corp was dissolved properly, the corp could still be held liable for debts. Many construction type businesses are required to have a personal signatory for debt unless they have been around for a while and have references. If a FL. Corp is in fact dissolved and there are later claims, the owners could be held personally liable unless they followed proper dissolution protocol, including, but not limited to, mailing a notice of dissolution to all creditors and interested parties, noticing those parties on assets available at time of dissolution, and maintaining efforts to protect the corporate shield. If a Fl. Corp officer / owner failes to follow protocol, then the corp shield can be pierced and the owners may be held personally liable. It would be hard to prove but could make a real problem for them. Just an FYI. Additionally, one could file a complaint with the St. of FL. based upon the improper dissolution of the company, and while the complainant may not recover monies, they could assist in the revocation of the licensure of the parties.

Well, that is the trouble with the would be book/media deal Dom has with mom, pop and Brad ( allegedly) , everyone that they owe money to (ZFG, I hope Jesse) and now anyone Dom owes money to are going to attach their claims to the proceeds. Good!!

I sure hope when is made to testify, and do hope it is when not if, that he will at last tell the truth. There is a reason he had so many different cell phones. He is hiding something. I am curious to see how Baez treats him since their allegiance seems to have a fluidity, one minute they are working together, then he quits, then he files a bar complaint, then they appear to be on the same page again.....what do you guys think is their status now?

Has anyone else noticed this on Leonard Padilla's site? :

Message from Leonard

"There will be many new developments in the first part of January regarding the finding of Caylee's remains. The situation continues to grow and encompass many individuals, some heard from before, and others that will be heard from. "

{Cough*Choke} Hmmmmmmmmmm..........does he know something....or is he blowing smoke..?

I still wonder about Tony's comment, "He talks to Baez every day...."".

You have the date wrong that LP's statement is from mountiantime! His comment is from December 2008.

Just wanted to clear this up before it cause anymore confusion. I only knew this cause I did the same thing last Tuesday when I popped by his site to check it out! I thought the exact same thing, till I looked again at it wondering why he would know of new evidence to be released in January! LOL

From the interviews from JH...DC & JH went to search for Caylee BEFORE they went to the "Meet & Greet". It's in the documents & taped interview when JH was interviewed by LE. It wasn't after the "Meet & Greet"....they both did go back on Nov. 16th again searching.

I think others were looking for this video & article from the "Meet & Greet"
If not it's still interecting considering it's the day that CA knew that she sent DC to look in the woods.

At Saturday's function, the Anthonys were helping Kid Finders gather a list of volunteers they can contact at a later date and determine how those volunteers can help in the search for Caylee, who the Anthonys maintain is still alive.

In an interview, Cindy stressed that the effort requires more donations so that Kid Finders can keep up the search.

If you go to my profile pg. I have a few more pictures from the "Meet & Greet" saved in my Caylee picture album. I have more, but didn't put them all in the album. I hurried up & saved them from MB's web site, before they vanished when the video of DC in the woods was found out.

I think that's going to depend on whether or not Baez has paid him anything and how much is left outstanding. If Baez still owes DC money, DC will stick like glue to him.

This is another interesting video....made 2 days before CA sent DC to search the woods!!
*Note the duct tape used on the tables behind CA's right shoulder in this video too! IMO
RAW INTERVIEW: Cindy, George Respond To Developments At Search Site 8:07

Looking at today's hearing....DC can run, but he can't hide-The state is going to get the information they are loking for one way or the other, and LDB has all but stated that she is committed to getting the information she needs from him, even if she has to come back to court several times to have JudgeS clear each and every question she wants to ask DC.

I was just watching trutv and they were interviewing DC's attorney. They were talking about DC's relationship to Hoover and she said they didn't generally have a relationship except for this period of time in question.

Then she went on to say that Hoover videotaped the search without DC's permission and had he not done that, no one would know about that search.

I don't know why, but that made me unhappy :( Further proof that the Anthonys purposely try to hide things from LE rather than desire justice for Caylee!!!

So did I hear correctly in a post hearing interview that Baez said they would be adding DC to the witness list so they can be present at the deposition? Doesn't this mean the depo will go forward rather than an investigative subpoena? And, if so means we all get access to the transcript right?

Jose, Jose, Jose! Think for a minute, do you really want him on your witness list - as a witness at the trial. Run possible scenarios through your mind......, include the State in them of course....

Yeah, but I wasn't real happy that an investigative subpoena could mean it is not subject to Sunshine Laws, which means there goes about five great threads for us!

I can just hear JB at this one going "Dominic zip it! ZIP it!"
