Since all the news today... The Anthony's lawyer calling out Casey's defense and the defense filing an objection to the Anthony's being present during the trial... a lot of talk is back to focusing on Casey blaming her parents for Caylee's death. Which always brings me back full circle to Dominic Casey!

Dominic Casey, in some of the emails, was very suspicious of not only George, but of Lee. The State and the Defense recently deposed Dominic Casey and I think that can be linked to the defense going after the Anthony's.

If you think about it... it makes Cindy and George look extremely suspicious by having their personal Private Investigator out in those woods searching for Caylee. Add in the fact that Jim Hoover will testify that DC told him that they were going to get Caylee and she was deceased. Add in the fact that Cindy lied in her state deposition that she didn't know DC had gone out in those woods until after Caylee's remains were found when Lee disputes that in his state deposition and Cindy even blurted out to detectives that she had already sent someone out there to search for Caylee.

Yeah... I think it is safe to say that the bus is heading directly towards Hopespring Drive.

Gawd, I can not wait to read DC's deposition. I really need to know for fact that Cindy sent him out there... My heart tells me that Cindy did send him out there... I just need to KNOW!?!?

That might just bite JB in the azz though. I remember he was all but apoplectic during the LE interviews, much less when he thought DC was going to be depositioned. He was asking for a "special master" and went all kinds of berzerk. I would imagine that if DC had gotten specific information about where to look in the woods (and we have to figure he did given all that poking around with the plastic bags and the noise about the pavers) he might have passed it on to CA seeing as how they were so very, uh, close, back then. But I'd lay odds on the fact it came from JB's client first, or at least the prosecution could make it look that way given DC's predilection for intimating he might have been told what to do or not do if he discovered the body.

I think the DT is going to have a heck of a time explaining why their client was sitting in jail for three years if GA or anybody else was the SODDI. I'd imagine the jury will not have any trouble believing that ICA is simply (in her own words" a "spiteful little *****" though. Her parents tried to throw all kinds of other under the bus, JG, AL, AH, RM, etc. to no avail. JB has tried to implicate JG, RK and half the TES volunteers. Who's even left to throw under a bus but George? However, I hope it will appear to a jury exactly what it is - a half-baked after-the-fact attempt to misdirect attention away from the only person who had any motive or opportunity to kill that adorable little girl.

I agree that a jury is not going to buy the "George done it" or even "Cindy done it" route. Although it is a better stradegy than blaming Roy Kronk, Jesse Grund, Amy or any number of innocent people. Everything in that Anthony home that was found at the remains site can be just as easily linked to Cindy and George as it is to Casey.

We have to remember that DC was once employed by JB and Casey Anthony so anything said between them between those dates are protected under attorney/client privilege. I used to think that JB would be insane to even want to include DC in this, but I think he was given no choice since the State was obviously very interested in using DC. So I believe JB is going to use what he can out of the whole DC in the woods video. That DC worked for the Anthony's and he had no contact with Casey at all during those searches. Add on the fact that Cindy lied in her state deposition about not even knowing DC went out into those woods until after Caylee's remains were found and you have someone who is obviously covering something up... Cindy Anthony.

I don't know. I can't wait for opening statements~ I know we can't just skip over the jury selection process, but I am really anxious to see what exactly the defense is up to?

This was his investigative subpoena deposition from March, right? The one he fought tooth and nail to avoid giving? And everybody and their brother argued "work product"?

I am DYING to see this.

I hope it's not as anticlimatic as Mallory's....

According to Marinade Dave, Diane Tennis said the state had found no real usefulness in DC.
But, I don't believe she has been his attorney for a while, so we'll see.

I wish DC's deposition would be released! I've been dying to read it and can't understand why it's still unavailable!

Before the weekend, a local attorney signed onto the case late Friday to represent the private investigator."

Wonder why Diana Tennis withdrew as DC's attorney? She's been appearing on one or the other of Vinnie P.'s shows that are on HLN after the trial ends on some days...and I don't really like her...she is another one who is so obviously a defense attorney.

Also, where does she get off commenting on what would be contained in said depo, since she wasn't even there!?
