There's just alot going on behind the scenes we don't know about in this case..HAS TO BE. However, I'm glad he's going to continue to search for her.

Hi pegdave2 and WELCOME! I don't think Kool had any intentions of this thread being one-sided. So your questions about Rons donations/proceeds are right where they are supposed to be posted I believe. Only thing is that something like the jar thing, while there may be truth to it, we just don't know, therefore it has to be considered rumor and kept downstairs. (if you don't know where that is let me know, I'll draw you a map, lol!) To my knowledge we have no proof that any 'real' money is coming in that I know of anyway, mostly speculation imo. Some have said that the HaLeighbug Foundation is selling t shirts, bracelets and such, but I have heard nada, zip, zero as to whether anyone is buying, ya know? Times are tough and sadly HaLeigh's case is quickly fading, so who knows?

I think when the Haleighbug Foundation was opened there was a bit of talk about how the foundation would go on to help the families of other missing children. Someone asked what would become of the foundation when Haleigh was home and the answer was that they would continue to help other families.

Either way, I still have the same opinion. Give or don't and don't worry about the people who choose to give....from an open heart.

elle, I love this post! Obviously when YOU give, you do it with an open heart, as that is the true meaning of giving, or so I have always thought. No strings attached and expect nothing in return, otherwise it somehow takes away the true spirit. And you are right, if one is in doubt, then don't give. Very, very simple imo. If there is some wrongdoing on either side, it will come to light...maybe not today or tomorrow, but it will. I don't believe you can never be 100% sure how gifts or donations will be used... soooo in your beautiful words that I bolded above and here.....

I think if RC stole a donation jar he would have been arrested. RC isn't the one w/ a foundation to solict donations. He recieved a tatoo donation early on and as far as anything else, if he's gotten anything no one has reported it.

Again, there is no proof of any of the things in your post and most came from the RT in the PL and those things are not allowed up here.

Both sides of the family have been on news shows.

IIRC RC started a fund immediately with B of A. It was opened to help him with money because he was out of work and had to search for Haleigh...no?

Guess "out of work" is alternative wording for "got canned/fired" and "keeping vigil" is the alternative to "getting tats, married, NYC honeymoon on behalf of NBC/The Today Show, throwing punches and delivering headless rats to the child-bride's kin, stocking up on firearms and practicing the ole' "barrel in mouth" technique just in case you gotta blow your child-bride's teeth out the back of her head..." If Ron and family are so bad off that they are seeking donations for "family relief", then why doesn't Ron get a dang job? There are plenty of parents out there with missing kids, who are working and keeping their home and family life financed... so why can't he do it?

Any monies going to Florida in regards of the case, should be put towards finding Haleigh... that is the most important thing.

BBM.. I doubt he would have been arrested... He seems to have a knack for asking people "Don't you know who I am?" IMHO he has used his daughter to garner sympathy and contributions from the community in order to get what he refuses to go out and work and pay for himself..And he has been soliciting donations since the beginning..IMHO..He and his family seem to have an entitlement problem since it has been revealed none of them work....JMO

So far, when arrested for felonious activity....RC has a magical ability to keep from being prosecuted. JMO

Still wonder about those tattoo donations. Why wouldn't someone have offered the family funds for basic necessities, instead of the vanity tats? I mean, man cannot eat on tats alone.....or at all. Ron had another child at home to provide for. His family was homeless for all intents and purposes. I'm sure the cost of all those tats would have been more appropriately utilized.

Has he fixed that hideous Haleigh tat yet?

Does anyone know if RC, TN and GGM are working? How do they pay the bills? Are donations funding trips to Vegas....make-overs and new vehicles? How do they eat, put a roof over their heads? Donations? For three oh, four generations counting poor little JR.?

are you referring to the article I posted about Tim and TE? The article I believe was written right before Tim's latest statements about "He thinks Haleigh is Dead, and he's not searching for Haleigh". It is confusing, but I hope this helps put in perspective. Have to keep an eye out for dates in these links.

I sometimes think that people get confused when TM is headed for Florida. When he does so, it's to search for any number of people that are and have been missing. If he says a particular search will stop, that doesn't mean it's for good, it's at that particular time for a particular reason. It's never forever. Every time he goes back to Florida, the search resumes for everyone that is missing. Some searches are more pinpointed for likelihood of a find but more often, it's for anyone you come across and that has happened.

I haven't seen this before. That's the way I've always seen most family relief being handled. Set up legitamately through a bank, fund, where it's accountable to the last shiny red penny.

If people want to give that's a personal choice, and should be left alone by nay sayers. He was the custodial parent with another minor child to take care of that is Haleigh's brother. The new pics in the link shows me how "Hands On" Ron was with his children. Haleigh always looks so happy. Biggest smiles a face can make.

Ron will get his life back together soon enough. This has been a bad hard blow, and it takes time to recover such a crisis in ones life. This Christmas will be extremely hard on these families if Haleigh hasn't been found by then. I really empathize with that.
