So today was a day for updating programs on my sweet 'puter. First AVG, Java, and Zone Alarm. I'd get it done and then a new update would come, then another.

I wonder if one of those updates was to change the time on it tonight, or will I have to do it manually?

PS: Guess I'll find out in the morning, yea! LOLOLOLOL
Scandi, my computer always changed automatically, but I heard today that some tech devices made prior to 2005-06 will not automatically update. I have a new computer so guess it will do it on it's own.

I am curious if my cell phone will automatically update, always has, but will have to wait until the morning.

Maybe if enough of us say Daylight Savings for long enough, everyone else will too! We've already got AT&T and Yahoo on our side!

Believe me when I say I only corrected myself because I typed it wrong at work years ago, I THOUGHT I WAS RIGHT, that's the way I had always heard it growing up also.

ETA: I always said Safety Deposit Box also, and it's Safe Deposit:o
Yep - grew up hearing Safety Deposit Box too.

Off the subject, but for some reason this thread makes me chuckle about. My stepmother grew up in the country in SC and she and her family always talk about "cutting something half in two"...as in "Carolyn, cut that sandwich half in two and share it with your brother."

Hi Tom'sGirl,

I'm gonna love it. When it gets dark so early it sets a different mood, so undone day chores get left till the next day, at least in this house! Like going outside down to the laundry room, running to the store, etc.

Every newscaster I've heard today says, Hey, enjoy an extra hour of sleep! I think they do the news without even thinking. LOLOLOLOL All they do is read the prompters, right? We're losing an hour of sleep if my brain is functioning properly!!! So Funny

Still hope your Birthday 'luvs' are holding you in good stead. You are a peach of a poster!

Spring forward one hour this time, rather than falling back. Except in AZ and Hawaii. (We Hoosiers are still getting used to this, having only done it for one year.)
oh gosh thanks..I would have forgotten until tomorrow.

I too love the longer daylight hours, you're definately right about it setting a different mood when it gets dark so early. Just the past couple of weeks I've noticed it staying lighter outside already, now with the extra hour :woohoo:
Thank you so much for the compliment :blushing: and yes, my birthday 'luvs' from here, my daughter, and a few friends are still holding.

LOL I hear that said often!

People always say that southerners are lazy and that's why they say "y'all" and "aint" etc. but I have found they actually add words they don't need to. I often hear "I done did that already" when people up north would simply say "I already did that".

Back to the topic- my son has an alarm clock that sets itself and usually changes itself during saving time. I wonder if it will tonight.

If I don't go to bed soon, I will actually see if the time on my computer changes, after downloading a patch that supposedly takes care of that.

(Just sayin' so if y'all see me posting anymore you'll get on my case and tell me to git sleepin' :D).

No it won't screw you up DK, you'll be on time, others will be late
You were almost right, lol. The crowd was smaller than usual, especially for Lent. And I saw a couple people walking in an hour later looking confused, hehe.

Sometimes looking confused is what you do when you can't drag yourself out of bed, and take the opportunity to blame the change in time.:D

How'd everything else go, any glitches in your computer/cell phone? Everything went smoothly on my end.

Hmmm, computers at my work place were still an hour behind today. We'll see how it goes to morrow.

I despise the time change!!!! :bang:
