Officials say Dover Air Force Base is on lockdown after a suspicious person was reported on the Delaware post.

Military officials say in a news release that the lockdown was ordered Thursday as a precautionary measure after a suspicious individual was reported around 11 a.m.

All personnel were told to shelter in place.
