I am going to contact Mark Winne of ABC here in Atlanta....he came out and filmed for Tawni's case, I'm going to nag him to do a story on BK.

Believe.. ;) can we do a media form letter? Something we can just copy and paste to blast media/news here in GA area? We can start an organized Media Blast Campaign thread/forum if needed?Hit GA and the other states/areas he is familair with? National and Local.

Thoughts?

It will be a couple of days before I can get to it...

Gee, thanks alot Dr. Phil for ALL your help! Well, at least he got his face out there. Not that it seems to have done much good. Unbelievable!

I posted - I didn't want to appear as if I was representing WS in any way, so I just worded it that they could find photos and more information at Websleuths as well as Wikipedia. :D

Did you make note of the leads you saw? I haven't read through the posts, just skimmed a few. I'm not a good sleuther :blushing: LOL.

I saw several good leads. unknown if Dr Phil show or hs investigator ever followed up on them. Those people did not post a second time. Maybe BK read them, he was posting there a few days ago.
But I will post the ones I think are helpful, if that is what is wanted.

Okay. I just put all the interesting clue messages from Dr Phil show on microsoft word. Now, I have to sort through them, before posting.

to Believe09, maybe you should review these before posting. ?

I pm'd my email addy-alot of what hit the boards has been vetted by NB and BK, but I will give it a shot for you and see what we can narrow down...Both she and BK were posting over there as well...

Thanks dreamweaver and believe, looking forward to what you come up with.

The show was re-run on 12/31 and the boards are back up for a short time! The board will shut down in January because Dr. Phil is going to a new format.

why would they "shut down" the phone line?

1) they know who BK is and don't need the tip line?
2) they are moving on to "bigger and better" stories and don't wanna mess with the phone lines?
3) can't think of a #3

As far as I know,
1) they do not know who BK is. if they did, why would they wait so long to announce it?
2) they shut everything down mid Nov., one month after the original show aired. maybe they just do one month for their guests?
3) me either

Part of the arrangement was a tip line that was established for a set period of time, I believe-I doubt that they leave this stuff up for anyone very long. They would have to pay to staff it etc...so I suspect that number 2 is part of the truth, GiGi!!!

The videos are no longer at these Youtube links. Does anyone know where else I can view these?

I have not been able to find them. Except to buy them from Dr Phil show.

I usually give Dr. Phil a pass, but that is just wrong. His show makes millions, and he can afford to do this as a service to Benjaman and the people who are trying to assist him. It makes me wonder why Dr. Phil even agreed to do the show.

I recently checked the messages for Mr. Kyle at the Dr Phil site... there has been some recent activity, and support, as the episode airing Mr. Kyles story has recently been aired oversea's. Cool that his story is getting international attention.... and support and prayers from those who added a message.

Two messages in particular stood out to me. They were both from Indiana residents, one from Indy who watched the show and did not believe Mr. Kyles 'accent' sounded like he was from Indianapolis, but rather somewhere North of Indianapolis. The other, mentioned Mr. Kyle sounded 'exactly' like her brother who now resides in WI, but grew up in NW Indiana. (I've already stated, I suspect Mr. Kyle has memories of visiting the fair as a child, but most likely is from Nothern or NW Indiana). Because of that, and the linquistic who worked with Mr. Kyle for the Dr. Phil show I was wondering what others thoughts were on him having spent so much time in the south, he may have picked up a little bit of a southern accent and it reflecting in his voice? Possibly misleading the linquistic a bit......

I have a friend who is born in raised in the Chicago area, but after having spent 3 years or so in rural Louisiana she started picking up a slight bit of that dialect. She could correct it, when she was called out on it, but otherwise it did reflect in her pronunciation.

thoughts?

Cubby, you are so right. I have stated this before, I speak french and had a heavy accent when I moved to Baton Rouge in my late teens. Now in my late 40's the accent is not as heavy as it used to be, main reason is because when I moved to BR, no one hardly spoke any french, so I spoke english 99.9% of the time. Even now being back home for the last 9 yrs., I haven't much opportunity to speak french, so my accent has been the same since probably my early 20's and everyone who doesn't know me, thinks I was imported (not from here, lol).
