Yall, please be good on this thread when the show airs.

We should ALL be past being shocked at the lengths Cindy will go to protect Casey and the Anthony family image, so please don't go overboard with the bashing or feign utter shock at how crazy it all is. Nobody that has read this forum for more than an hour should be shocked about any of that stuff. The ONLY people that should be surprised would be those living in a cave or on a remote island w/o access to ANY electronic communication.

Let's try our hardest to just report the facts, describe their demeanor & recap the interview. I'm not saying not to discuss what is said during the interview and I am certainly not saying you should respect them -- all I am asking is for everyone to keep it in perspective considering all we know about Cindy & George. There are many, many posters who have chosen not to watch but have expressed that they will read the recaps here. Let's try to keep it on topic and timely.

This interview will be aired over 3 days - today, tomorrow and next Monday.

If it becomes dominated by bashing and bickering, it will be closed and we won't have anywhere to discuss it. So, please think about that, okay? It just isn't worth it.

Thanks you guys. :)

You may question my opinion, but cindy knew by June 16, 2008, that Caylee was gone forever. Regardless of how she behaved on July15, 20008, she knew and suspected the entire time that the felon killed Caylee. She just chose to live in her alternate reality.

Believe me if she thought Caylee was alive, she would have found her by June 16, 2008.

I don't recall cindy making any calls to the felon the first week, possibly the second week also. The felon did all the calling to her.

WOW! Is it 20008 all ready???? Where DID the time go? :floorlaugh:

Post partum schizophrenia? Yeah, sure Cindy. I am sure that was it.

Thanks all. I just searched Dr. Phil On-Demand and apparently it starts at 3:00 p.m. on channel FOX 29 (Channel 11) here in Texas.

I'm already ready to scream at the TV!

The thing is, it's abuse and it's neglect and it helps define who and what these children will eventually become. These are the people entrusted with teaching them right from wrong. We learn our values and morals from our parents, we learn how to cope with and interact in the world from our parents, we learn about consequences and being held accountable for our actions and in-actions, from our parents. When parents work with everything they have inside to deny their children these things they are neglecting and abusing them. That may be difficult for them to grasp because they have justified it every which way they can think of.. but it is the truth!

I was raised this way, by a mother like this who thought (in her fantasy world) that she was actually doing me a favor but she taught me nothing accept that rules and laws and consequences did not apply to me, that I could do whatever I wanted and nobody would do anything about it accept defend me and blame everyone else for my actions. It's wrong and it is not "parenting" in any sense of the word!

Yes, yes, and yes!

I have such a hard time interacting with the mothers I know who are like this, especially now that their kid is an adult. When some have told her flat out that she has to open her eyes and stop the enabling and the bailing out and the excuses, she says things like 'Oh, I know' and 'She's going to have to start standing on her own two feet' and then keeps right on enabling and bailing out and the excuses. It'll never stop.

I'm no psychologist, but I think they (the ones I know in RL) keep doing it because they think the kid's actions reflect badly on them, making them look like a bad parent. In reality, they look worse because of everything they do to try and minimize and excuse and 'fix' their kid's behavior.

they are talking sooooooo quickly! Trying hard to get everything, but it's not possible..

Interview cont'd

Opening statements of baez.

when you heard the defense say g was involved in cover up of caylee..did it occur to you that he hid that to you?
C-no, not when it comes to caylee ...he'd never had done that.
watched his heart break every day

phil-do you make excuses for people
c-I did until the last few years. I know better.
phil-do you excuse the lies?
c- not at all.
phil for 2 years you thought she worked at universal
c- yes, I'm angry about it.

george she borrowed and stole money from me and cindy.
she stole gas.

phil-where was she when she was supposed to be at work
c-most of the time casey and caylee were together, she was having play dates or taking caylee to teh park
phil-why lie about it?
cindy-would ask casey about money on cc's ....casey lied. She thought casey and george didn't deserve to be 3rd degreed about their lies.

George -casey had great excuses.

phil-was there a time where yout hought casey was out of control before this.

cindy-there was spring 2008..was confronting casey more about money debt. casey always had an excuse.
cindy afraid if she made casey move out worried about where caylee would be.

cindy never considered taking caylee away from casey.

the straw that broke camels back, was when money stolen from grandparents.

george-cindy enabled casey because of what george did.
cindy claimed she never threatened to take away caylee, gave her several months to get her act together.

cindy claims she may have pushed her too hard.

LOL BetteDavisEyes - I had to look it up! I didn't even know what channel it was on.

What strikes me odd is the 3pm time slot - who's the audience? That's major power hour around here - school kids get out, mom's out and about...I suppose DVR has made that somewhat irrelevant, but I really wonder about the show's demographics. My guess is, it's skewed to my group. Hahahahahahahahah!!!!!!

i'm an after 7 viewer. home from work, plate a salad sit down to watch recording and zip past commercials :)

Maybe she meant post-partum psychosis? Like Andrea Yates? FCA wasn't hearing voices or anything like that. GMAB.

Did they mean they never believed FCAs lies before this happened? And CA didn't believe her and told LE to take her away? Then why did she not tell Yuri hey she's not telling the truth...don't go the Zanny Route. Let's start with this neighborhood...why go on TV with the Zanny crap? Morgan will have a field day with this.

I remember during an interview, Cindy saying that they were finding that everything OCA said was proving to be true. Can't remember when she said this but I was listening when she did. Maybe someone else caught it.

Dontcha just know that Cindy has been Googling feverishly, pre-Dr. Phil show, just trying to "fit" a diagnosis to match FCA's criminal behaviors?!! Well I too Googled "post-traumatic schizophrenic" and, imo, it is an unproven and risky "diagnosis" at best... if it truly even is one... The patients' testimonials that I came across ALL described being so depressed that they stayed in bed hallucinating. Not ONE person described an upsurge of activity/partying such as FCA displayed. These are miserable people on heavy meds. They are not going to "Anything But Clothes" parties or Target, neither do they have the mental energy or inclination to flit about town/steal checks/do their boyfriend's laundry/
make up lie after lie. NO, true schizophrenics are just SUFFERING. Cindy will NEVER admit Casey's culpability, and as long as George is married to Cindy, neither will he. These people are SO full of it. I wonder how Lee is doing? I hope he is well.

Uh Oh! We all know what happens when Cindy googles! Nothing good!

phil-she called yous ix times in 4 minutes
cindy=something was going on right then and there...
she could tell in her voice somethign was going on.
phil-was she upset?
cindy-can't remember.
phil=you call until you get someone if caylee died.
cindy-i'd have dropped everything if there was a problem
phil-how could you not know from seeing child dAILY then having no contact for 31days
you know she lies...never met babysitter, never met bf, car impounded, and you pick up car, and smells like a dead body, and you fabreeze the trunk and go to work.

looking back does that show you , you missed huge signals that should have alarmed you?

I have a feeling this show is going to do nothing more than enrage those of us who have pretty much settled down and accepted the verdict. I can't help thinking every negative emotion I've felt over the past 3 years is going to surface all at once and my head is going to explode. Still not sure if I will watch or not...I have 2 hours to decide. One thing is for certain...this show will validate that the fact that I can loath Cindy even more than I already do.

Bolded by me:

I agree 10000000000000000000000000%!!!!!! Just infuriates me to the core!

If anyone gets anxious while waiting, we have a couple of cases that you might spend time in until the show starts.

1) Susan Powell: they just announced another search! Members are following it on Twitter as we don't have a scanner feed for the area

2) An 8 year old autistic boy is lost in the California forests near Lake Arrowhead. There is a lot of activity on the scanner about it. You can find the Scanner Forum in the Parking Lot of WS. It is for members only.

Now I'll go before Beach :slap: me for being OT. :giggle:

ETA: NEVAH MIND! I see it's being transcribed. Check these out later and again sorry for the :offtopic:

So what's the motive?

Do you think it is only money or do you think Cindy really thinks she is going to be able to rehabilitate Casey's image?

Or something else?

Thanks.

They just can't stop themselves, they do not care what we think or what we say. Its all about them, their rules and their agenda. Three, possibly four, people in this family have deep, deep issues. Each of them may be a bit unique, but each is a very dangerous person. Whether together or apart, they cause pandemonium and chaos, and whomever is there focus - is going to get very hurt, or worse.

I suspect that over the years, they will rear their ugly heads every so often. Something else will happen, and it will be just as major. They'll go through whatever money they gained from this latest stop on their fibapalozza tour, and then they'll be back for more. They have fed from this trough for the past three+ years, and they covet and need it.

They scare me.

Post partum schizophrenia? Yeah, sure Cindy. I am sure that was it.

Before this is over we will have a menagerie of possible diagnosis to choose from; brain tumor, seizures, postpartum schizophrenia, postpartum psychosis, depression etc. all at the prompting of Cindy. :banghead:

As long as there are suckers out there with $$$ to give away, like Dr Phil, and an audience to lap it up they will continue to say outrageous things. That is how they are earning their living now...

That, and paying themselves to run dubious charities in their granddaughter's name.

"Jose Baez has been retained by the family of 50 year old Gary Giordano, the principal suspect in the disappearance of 35 year old Maryland native, Robyn Gardner, who went missing in Aruba. Baez and an investigator are in the Caribbean Island right now interviewing witnesses and probing relevant locations. Giordano is being held without bail by Aruban authorities, as they attempt to find evidence sufficient to charge him with Gardner's death."

No matter how hard Cindy tries to justify why FCA would have acted the way she did will NEVER have America fooled. Cindy is just going to have to face the facts that her daughter killed Caylee! FCA just got lucky cause of the lame jury.

by the end of it, Aruba might jail Baez, too! wouldn't that be too funny. They don't play by our rules there.
