This is the part that got my attention "When I go to the office I seem to encounter the press, thus making it much more difficult"...Has nothing to do with taking care of business. It took two minutes or less to answer that reporters questions...IMO

And why mention the girls???

I know others will disagree with me and that is fine, but I personally feel those kind of comments are manipulative and self-serving.

If I were a patient needing my records, I would be insulted & pizzed if I got that letter. Those patients KNOW his BFF has been charged for TS's murder. And he thinks they give a flying flip if he is bothered by the media when he goes to the office?

I think his story is something like this: LE took the computer I used to access the medical records and I can't access the records without this computer.

"My computer and networking equipment that I have used to access & send medical records has not been in my custody since the death of my wife, Teresa. When I go to the office I seem to encounter the press, thus making it much more difficult."

So confused. MS's original email to patients directed them to email their requests IIRC, and that was after TS's death. When the 'computer and networking equipment' was in LE custody. So what is true? Did LE take the computer after Email 1, or is he lying about LE taking the computer on June 29? How did he not know about this IT issue when he sent Email 1?

WHY should you care if he is bothered by the media? YOU NEED YOUR RECORDS. But Mark needs to make sure you know how he is being harassed?

You're a better person than me because I'd email him back and highlight that quote telling him "Thanks for making your priorities clear for me."

I'm so sorry. I imagine Teresa would be so embarrassed by this.

I am in agreement. I seem to encounter the press. What does this mean, more importantly what does this have to do with electronic medical records? We know he went there once, how long could it possibly take. I highly doubt media is camped out at the medical building, maybe I'm wrong.

Idk when email 1 was dated but SMS confirmed on 7/8 that LE had taken the office computers

Wait... he sent this as an EMAIL, so he obviously has a computer available.

And he has, or is able to access, the patient master list as he has all the patients' email addresses.

Yet he does not have the ability to access their medical records? Or recover them via backup files?

His expert IT guy has his hands tied at the moment in jail. I hope the patients get their records back HIPPA is taken very seriously and that data needs to be forwarded and protected.

Since they did not do insurance, not sure where there would be info that could be accessed. Hopefully none of her patients are in dire need of their information because of intense health issues.

It's not all about him. His house and car payments may not be as critical as someone's health issues.

It should not have come to this point. Mark communicated with patients, told them he would transfer the records and then did not, for months. In the long run, it would have been less stressful to delegate the duty of distributing the records, JMO.

Medical records are very important to some people, vital. Let's not be dismissive, its not like these patients are requesting useless records.

I've been to the building four times in the last month...no media "camped out" there.

I am also confused. He has reached out to ALL the patients (has some kind of records)....twice...by email. But he is unable to use email. And there is no back up for the Medical records, one copy and the cops have it. Did I get that right?
