You have to sign for your records. So when does he plan on meeting patients that really don't want too see him?

To date, we have been unsuccessful in finding a like minded and like hearted physician to step into the practice and I feel it would be a disservice to all of you if we settled for anything less.

My interpretation. To date, no ethical doctor in his/her right mind want to step foot into that practice as long as the investigation continues. Especially since the husbands BFF has already been arrested for murder. jmo

I can think of a number of reasons he is delaying sending the records.

1. There are doctors that do not believe in the type of medicine Dr. S. practiced. Who am I to know what could be in those records that might open an investigation into the practice? IMO something is hidden.

2. By releasing the records, the practice is gone. Perhaps he thought there was money to be made in selling the practice?

3. MS and CWW never dreamed CWW would be caught, so they needed the practice to run the illegal money through. Now with CWW in prison, MS is in a pickle as to what to do with said money he is in possession of.

Bottom line, things did not go according to MS and CWW's master plan! After the murder, police were not suppose to solve it. It will be interesting to discover what the next step was in the plan.

In my mind, MS delaying sending out the records, only gives one more point towards his involvement.

So Mark has to psychically hand over the patient records so they can sign for them? He can't do it electronically?

You wouldn't just have those records on a computer without a hard copy or some kind of backup. What if the computer permanently crashed? They would lose all their data. Businesses dont function that way. jmo

Nice touch, asking patients to mail in written requests (presumably because their emails were not received) which probably starts the timer on another 30 days after MS opens the mail.

Exactiy, and I hope all send certified mail, each and every request needing to be signed for and receipt of verified to get the time clock ticking

That's the problem I'm having in trying to figure out this case. The motive.

A motive that makes sense is lacking to me so far. Maybe the motive doesn't make any sense and that's why I'm not seeing it.

With computers still being infallible, I don't believe there is a reputable business that does not have a backup of their files.

Talk about going out of business in a second, having no backup would do it to you!

Usually it's a fee per page and signed release during pickup unless he is sending to ssi or ssd etc. In this case. I doubt he will charge. But you still need to sign during personal pickup to avoid others seeing your records.

Btw. He says to this date he couldn't find a good replacement. Which means he was holding their records hostage with the hopes of keeping things going without the patients having a choice. Because a new doc would have reviewed everyone's records in order to jump in and know how to treat each patient. So it seems like a deplorable tactic on his part to lie like that. Jmo

If I'm understanding your post, there's hard copies of these patient records and MS is not giving those paper documents to the patients who need them.

It has nothing to do with computers or anything digital. Am I understanding this correctly?

In my opinion that means Sheriff Scott is not going to clear Mark and he is still being investigated in this case. He is a person of interest because he was married to the victim and his best friend is charged with killing his wife Teresa. For these reasons his actions and words found in the mainstream media and other public domains can be discussed on this board.

If posters don't like the letter he wrote they have a right to view that letter in their own way as it relates to the case. I've seen opinions from Mark is a narcissist to Mark really cares. Opinions on this case are widely varied.

If Sheriff Scott would've said, "Mark is not considered a person of interest" or anything close to that it would be different here, but he hasn't said any such thing. Just the opposite. If Mark is innocent the people who have written about him will have to take responsibility for their words.

So it's not a matter of a "digital formatting" problem because the records are in a paper form and can be moved from one place to another without any issue.

How in the hell can Mark keep these records away from the people who need them?

Respectfully SeesSeas, I do not purport to answer for Tricia but that's what we do on Websleuths....sleuth cases. The Sheriff has stated MS is within the envelope of suspicion, and has not cleared him. For those who disagree with theories presented, there is the other thread for theories not involving MS.
