Dr. Sievers' RHHC Medical Practice - Operations & Website

I know at times people have had questions about SH...It was good to see they got her reaction to the office closing...she was a faithful long time employee for Dr Sievers...can't imagine how difficult it is for her to go to work in that same building and pass MS in the hallway or elevator. I can tell she is trying to hold her tongue regarding "the case" and wait for justice to be served.

I wonder if the Goodwill employees helping MS empty the office are employees or volunteers? It would be interesting if some of them were volunteers who also work at LCSO, just keeping tabs on the situation. I don't really think that, but if I were MS, I would be feeling pretty paranoid right about now.

If MS had shut down and withdrawn completely from the beginning, that would be understandable. But you'd think this many months later he would feel the obligation to at least provide some clarification.

And he didn't shut down at the beginning. He made every effort to continue to profit from his wife's business, while also asking anyone with heart to fund his need for a cool million. But he doesn't feel the need to give any satisfaction to the same public whose money he was willing to accept.

Can anyone tell me when Dr. Sievers established the RHHC practice in Estero and where she was and what she was doing before that?

With pads of prescription pads in the office IMO TS would not even know about it. But she may have found out. With MS keeping his MO telephone number it would be easy to set up another "office" there. Could even order a set of prescription pads or that location too. With no oversight in MO and using multiple "patients" it could be MO MONEY...MO MONEY!

JMO

Mostly, I was "prescribed" supplements as my health plan was a holistic approach. However, I was "prescribed" a very few pharmaceutical medications. In those cases, Dr. Sievers did not use a handwritten prescription pad. The prescriptions were computer generated. I have one that I had decided not to fill. It is signed, but the signature looks like "TS md". In my opinion, this would be fairly easy to replicate if someone had a sinister plan.

Thank you, Southwflorida, for being here and helping us better understand Dr. Seivers. I am sorry for your loss.

Do you know if the practice accepted payment in Bitcoins? ( I know very little about Bitcoins, but I am willing to learn.)

She started her practice in St Petersburg. I'm not certain of the year she started it or the exact year of her relocation to Estero/Bonita Springs. But in Dr. Sievers' thread, there's quite a bit more of her professional biography to put together that timeline. Victim: Dr. Teresa Ann Grace Sievers

“I think the location is key,” says Dr.Teresa Sievers, a primary care internist at the EMC. Sievers relocated from a busy practice in St. Petersburg to start her practice in Estero and has been at the facility since its opening. One of the advantages she sees to working in the same building as her colleagues is the ease with which patients can get the treatment they need. “We work together. There’s definitely a good camaraderie,” she explains. “I refer a lot of patients to Urgent Care and the other doctors and vice versa. It helps with continuity of follow-up.”

Just catching up and I was thinking this same thing. A lot of Rx are computer generated and sent electronically to the pharmacy, which is kinda nice as it does not require staff or MD to call prescriptions in or write them out. My DH MD signature is scribble scrabble and I can fake it pretty well if I had to.

Jumping off your post, you got me thinking. With all the seemingly unregulated pain clinics and loosely based narcotic dispensaries in FL, it would not surprise me at all the to learn that MS/CWW were using TS and her MD license, MS supplement cover, pharmaceutical access domestic and foreign to "run" narcotics. With Percocet and Oxy at $10-$30 a pill on the street, how lucrative would this be? Major. MO being somewhat lax in their monitoring of prescription drugs, there may be doctors in MO and other states who were dispensing on the side that were in a pipeline.

There have been several doctors here that have gone to jail for illegally dispensing narcotics for profit. I know the DEA has really cracked down on narcotic RX and they seem to look at every medical practice and the frequency of narcotic refills and scripts here in Delaware. The State will sometimes randomly go into a medical practice and pull charts to examine Narcotic prescription prescribing compared to reason for patient visit. The pharmacies are under heavy scrutiny as well.

I didn't know you were following this case. I'm elated to see you back up on your feet! I'm still recuperating from sciatic nerve pain and S.T.I.L.L. cannot sit very long.
I did drive myself to PT for the first time today, it's only 3 miles away from my house, but it was a BIG deal for me.
Needless to say, this case has really pulled on my heart strings :frown: So I spend all of my allotted "sittin time" here. As soon as I am back on my feet (or butt) I will come back to my home base. Give my love to everyone.

Everything you said above is completely possible. Nothing would surprise me with this case, it really truly is stranger than fiction.
I think the reason your not getting any replies is because this has already been discussed at length awhile back, so please take no offense.
No one here knows the motive and we all just speculating. Your post was very informative. :loveyou:

Thanks Dmacky. I figured all these smart posters have thought of everything I am just now thinking about. This case just makes me sad as the ripple effect is cast far and wide. My heart goes out to her daughters especially, and to all those who loved her.

I apologize for being redundant and really appreciate you all's patience with me :)

Helper, I am just catching up on a weeks worth of threads and posts, but I too, was very interested in SH's response. I felt it was very telling, and not in a good way for MS! SH quote: "For somebody to think that they could ever fill her shoes, the feeling is out there, that something's not right"

BBM: Wonder what MO policy is on filling out-of-state prescriptions. Most states will fill rx's from another for non-controlled (heart, blood pressure, thyroid) drugs, but will not fill rx's for controlled (pain, anxiety, ADD) drugs. Considering CWWs previous drug charges, there is a real possibility that rx fraud was occurring. However, I feel that if this is the case, MS is in on it, or else he would have been murdered too...right?

Edited to rephrase and remove the word rumor, KateB doesn't have to snip me twice! oh the shame.... :-)

I am certain that SH has a lot she could tell about this case. I'm sure she has been well interviewed by LE. She's a lovely woman and I think that this has been horribly stressful for her.

Villager, I am sure she is heartbroken. I am equally sure she has many, many pieces of invaluable info. It was such a small practice, with very little staff turn over, even if the doc did not confide specific details, SH likely picked up all or pieces of conversations between TS/MS throughout the years.

SH wasn't just an employee to Teresa. She was a friend as well. Although I never met SH, Teresa mentioned her often.

In my opinion, very little respect or dignity was given to the closing of Dr. Siever's practice.
I think it would break her heart.

things that formed my opinion include:

-MS searching for a "like-minded, like-hearted physician to ultimately step into the practice"
He wanted to stay in control of the practice or he would have closed it outright, or sold it.

-MS repeatedly ignoring/and or giving excuses about requests from patients for their records.
He sent out bulk generic email - he should have addressed their requests individually and in a timely manner.

-MS letting the rent for the office space become so in arrears that the landlord spoke to the media about it.
Embarrassing and not necessary.

-MS addressing supplements in the last email to patients.
That is such nonsense and inappropriate.

i will stop with those...

I don't know where anyone would find another Dr. like her. She was really unique. It's very sad to lose someone as talented as this. Wouldn't everyone like to have a doctor such as her in their own hometown?
As her sister said: keep in mind Dr. Sievers' credentials: She was the only MD in Florida (if not the country) board-certified in internal medicine, integrative holistic medicine and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. She also had a Master of Science Degree in metabolic & nutritional medicine through the University of South Florida, and was certified in trans-cutaneous acupuncture. She brought all of that together under the mind/body spirit connection.

i DON'T KNOW WHERE TO PUT LATEST PRESS STORY, DOJ(Dept of Justice), US Postal Inspection Services, Federal Trade Commission, Dept of Def, U.S. Anti-Doping agency etc....will be in attendance. Also, investigations have been launched against 2 S Florida manufacturers. (Strange coincidence or just coincidence. Story is all over the financial channels, right now.) Apparently some entities have been less than honest in manufacturing, sales, claims etc. on their supplement sales.
Just wanted to say, before anyone thinks I have any preconceptions or prejudices about vitamins. Twenty years ago I was suffering from a painful health condition. I went to a female surgeon, convinced I was going to at least have surgery, at most die a painful death. The doctor said, "Oh, you are suffering from a Vitamin "?" deficiency (won't disclose here, ok because I am not a doctor and I haven't asked our "MOD squad" in advance. ) And, I was literally cured within ONE WEEK!! Never had the problem again!! So, I know sometimes our bodies just need a little help...Unfortunately every industry is plagued with fraud, greed and inaccurate claims. The good guys get dragged down with the bad guys. Anyway, just interesting timing on this info.

Just curious- this question is for TS's patients.
What is the status of receiving your medical records? Has MS made good in sending your records yet?

As I've stated before, during visits to Dr. Sievers, I paid to two separate accounts. My office visits was billed/paid to Dr. Sievers - and she was the listed owner. When ordering supplements - THAT WERE PRESCRIBED by Dr. Sievers, I was billed/paid to Restorative Health and Healing - Mark Sievers is the listed owner dating back to 1999. So, Mark is encouraging Dr. Sievers former patients to continue to purchase supplements "indefinitely". This is a continued revenue source for Mark. Dr. Sievers used the supplement site only as a source to purchase supplements that she prescribed and monitored! She would never advocate patients just ordering supplements without Doctor supervision. I won't purchase supplements from the site - knowing that Mark is making money from each purchase. Dr. Sievers had over 1,000 patients. The supplements would be a big income source - IMO.
