Yesterday on the radio show, Jeff Ruby says he's been flirting with teenage girls in the courtroom. He must be scared he won't get to continue with his disgusting fantasies.

Defense atty @josharrk says #DrewPeterson would love to testify but they advise not to. Also says Drew is scared to death not cocky

:boohoo:

Oh, Drew is suddenly scared to death is he? Anyone check his pulse? He, unlike his victims is still alive.

I'd say scared to death might occur when the prison doors slam shut after sentencing, but knowing he's a cop he'll get protection his victims never received - and should have from those who take an oath to serve and protect.

The only thing DP ever served and protected was his own sick ego and wallet.

:furious:

Drew is SCARED?

:silly:

Do they really think we are going to buy that?

Actually, Kimster, of all of the garbage they have spewed, that is one of the only things I believe. DP is starring down the barrel of what will surely amount to a life sentence if convicted.

Cops do not do well in the state prison system. If I were him, I'd be pooping giant bricks.

I didn't know until listening to Jeff that Stacy was only 16 when they started running around together! Why was he not arrested! Like Jeff said maybe they were hanging out at Chuck E Cheese

Do we know if DP HAS any x wives, family, sons in courtroom? Friends? X girls?

I listened to the show last night and it was great! I heard you also, Kimster. :)

DP is so disgusting, and so is his lawyer's. His staring at teenagers and women in the courtroom is sickening.

GB Jeff Ruby! He is quite a talker, but his message is great. I enjoyed the show very much last night!

Thanks to you and Tricia, Kimster!

There again police covered up for DP dating a 16 year old. imo

#drewpeterson jurors arrived today wearing sports jerseys, breaking from their color coordination. My dream of all-paisley day lives!

My guess is when they go into deliberations they will be naked. That will symbolize that they have no "baggage" and that they are totally open-minded toward a fair verdict.

Or they could come all dressed in police uniforms and Drew Halloween masks.

The jury's wardrobe choice is one thing I wish we would have asked Jeff Ruby about. I think Tricia meant to but time was getting away from us.

County jail is a tea party compared to prison. He is being coddled in the medical unit at county. That sure as h3ll won't happen in prison.

X-cops and x-priests are put together in a wing and kept seperate from other inmates and lifers. Our largest prisons are not air conditioned here in Louisiana. I have no idea if they are where DP would be going if convicted.

My most sincere hope and prayer is that DP will be convicted and get LWOP. That would be justice for Kathleen and her family.

I am a little behind today but I just wanted to say that the jury wearing sports jerseys shows me that they are immature.....sports jerseys are inappropriate attire for any courtroom and they should have been told the dress code for court! I am very worried about this jury!!!

#drewpeterson judge says state has demonstrated a death occurred and, if you believe their witness, a crime took place

:)

Awesome.

I'm worried because I read that during the portion of testimony when Stacey's photograph was being displayed, there were jurors looking away, jurors with their eyes closed and jurors who were looking at their watches. I think the judge admonished them to stand up and stretch and keep their eyes open.

I think that is the height of crass and rude on their part. If they are tired or "bored", they should ask for a break. Judge should sternly admonish them that anyone caught doing this will be kicked off and replaced by an alternate.

That is very troubling. I did not read that.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but your post was just too funny!

I know years ago they'd send LE to Federal prisons and kept them out of the local prison system because of running into inmates they may have arrested. Not sure they still do that???? jmo

In Session
Judge Burmila is back on the bench. Defense attorney Greenberg addresses the Court, revisits the defense argument for calling attorney Harry Smith in an attempt to impeach the credibility of victim Kathleen Savio.

In Session “She perjured herself under oath . . . I think that’s a different situation, not a specific act of misconduct in a vacuum . . . if, in fact, she perjured herself, we would have no way of knowing until Mr. Smith actually disclosed this to someone . . . I think this is not a specific act of misconduct in the traditional sense . . . it goes to the oath, and what the oath means to the individual.” Prosecutor Griffin responds: “I’m not really sure what counsel is talking about . . . we don’t know what was said, what was done . . . this is nothing different than a specific act of misconduct that the defendant is trying to bring in . . . I think Your Honor’s previous ruling should stand.”

In Session Judge Burmila: “I understand the argument Mr. Peterson is making now . . . but my ruling is applicable to this additional argument as well. And the State’s motion in limine is granted.”

In Session The attorneys approach the bench for a sidebar.
