So, we're all wearing pajamas for the trial tomorrow? Is that what I'm reading? Can someone write a note to my boss so she doesn't sent me home to change? :please:

:floorlaugh:

I will fax a note to your employer right away, Kimster!

Katy, the only thing that I think may have hurt the prosecution regarding MP's testimony is she mentioned Kathleen would fight back. We know she had bruises on her body. Would those be consistent with a struggle? Nothing else was out of place. I know the suspected murderer probably cleaned up anything that was out of place but still the jury may question that part. IMO

Good Morning all!

This could hurt DP because what MP testified to may now allow DP's training records brought in by the State for rebuttal. Police officers are trained in restraining people to keep the officer from getting hurt himself. He had threatened her before and it may have been just a dress rehearsal for her death. She may have thought he was just there to threaten her again and only started to fight back once she knew he was actually going to kill her this time. It seems to me the defense may have opened another door. jmo

Also, does anyone think that Officer Sud changed his testimony at the last minute about the blue towel by saying he was not sure it was there. Why would defense even ask him that question if he was going to give that answer??????

I know this was not addressed to me, but since we are discussing the possibility or lack of a struggle, I think the head wound indicates she could have been ambushed and not seen it coming.

The head wound, I think, was after he drowned her and it's over the top. Not necessary, imo. I think the drowning accident would have been much more believable without the headwound, but good old Drew needed to add that extra insurance that she fell and hurt herself with that head wound. IF convicted, my guess is the head wound he added is what will do him in.

 OMG, could you imagine the look on Drew's face walking into court and seeing the jury dressed in orange? I would fall over! :floorlaugh:

I would hope the jury would have enough sense not to do that and considering it might become an appeal issue. jmo

I think we should all wear orange on decision day!

I just don't know how we will know what day that will be.

I don't think they would but why would it be an appeal issue? They're allowed to discuss the case during deliberation and if all decided that he's guilty and wear orange....so be it.

It's nice to day dream they will though. LOL

True. Especially since the state was not allowed to testify about Drew knowing how to use choke holds that did not leave any marks.

But I hope the jury can figure out that anybody can be blindsided and not be able to fight back.

There is a possibility that the DT will bounce back today and do some damage. I bet they were up late trying to figure out a way. Sending my prayers to Kathleen and Stacy's family for the strength they will need. :heartbeat::heartbeat::rose::star::rose:

I will be away all day today too......What did you think of Mary Ponterelli's (sp?) testimony yesterday? Did it help Drew in any way?
I wondered what her feeling was towards him in terms of his guilt or innocence because she nodded to him as she left the stand on the first day of court.:dunno:

What was the perjury info around Kathleen that wasn't allowed to be presented? How and under what circumstances did Kathleen perjure herself?

How did you feel about things at the end of the day yesterday?e What is on board today?

Thank you so much for all your help!!!:gthanks:

:grouphug: Hang tough friends!
