IIRC - His then exwife called the tip line after Stacy was reported missing.

ok, so his ex wife was the tipster. That explains it, thank you.

Lopez's cross brought groans from the court room when he asked Pachter if he could write. #drewpeterson

[ I don't think this jury likes the rudeness and aggressiveness of this DT.]

I bet it would have been less confusing if you were there in person. Following a trial on twitter and FB is really disjointed.

Thats for sure, I'm wondering why I'm even coming here day after day. So afraid I might miss something but then I won't even know what it is when it happens...sorry I'm not making sense, lol

DP's ex or Pachter's ex? How would DP's ex know anything about him? Confusing.

And that adds so much to his credibility, imo. He did tell someone about it. Who makes more sense than telling one's wife, with a shocking incident like this?

And it makes sense he did not go to the cops because Drew was a cop. So that is a good reason to be quiet.

He never came forward but his ex-wife called it in. Perfect, imo.

there for .......the press had said previously that the hitman would be on the stand later in the week, so I figured Thursday or Friday given that he was just approved yesterday.

I didn't think that I would go back ....I had been planning on blogging about this trial but other things have gotten in the way. Now I feel that I MUST go back and see what the heck is going on there.

I didn't sense any fun and games from the jury though. They looked very somber and intensely focused. I want to return and see what is up.
There is too much to read in between the lines.

What key testimony do we have left? When will Neil Schori, the pastor speak? That is when I should go

Pachters ex called the tipline after she heard that Kathleen was found dead in her tub. [ or after Stacy went missing, I am not sure which.]

Court has started.

State calls Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Bryan Falat. He's in charge team tasked with enforcing truck scales, among other things.

In Dec. 2002, Falat says he joined an investigative unit. It was a temporary duty assignment, he says.

Falat: Assignment lasted approximately from Dec. 2002 - April 2004.

be great for her to testify....is she on the witness list? She can fortify the testimony of Pachter.

Falat says he was part of two homicide investigations in 2003.

[ oh oh, that's not good. They are going to crucify him during the cross...only two homicide cases?]

no it's ok, isn't he the one that didn't think it was a murder? No experience.

n those, Falat says he was the "low man on the totem pole." He was there to assist, he says....[ there is not going to be much weight to his expert testimony...lol]

had much experience dealing with homicides. This is so tragic.
Greedy Evil Drew and Ignorance, Incompetent LE

:seeya: As long as they come back with a GUILTY Verdict ... then I say okay to the color coordinating ;) ;)

:moo:

LOL I hear ya. This Jury has a daunting task. Do i think KS was Murdered? Absolutely and at the Hands of Drew. Thus far i do worry about the verdict. They may feel she was murdered yet is there enough to convict Drew? They may feel she was murdered but is there enough to point the finger at Drew?

Falat says he was called March 1, 2004, while sleeping, to assist in death investigation related to Bolingbrook police officer...

trial witness Falat was among the earliest Illinois State Police investigators at the Savio house after her body was found...

Falat was temporarily assigned to investigations and was learning how to investigate homicides when Savio died...

[ so they sent their most inexperienced temporary 'investigators' to the scene of the dead wife of a cop? ]

Falat: "I observed Ms. Savio, naked, deceased in the bathtub."

Falat and another ISP sgt were on the scene soon after Savio's death was reported

Falat: Blood was coming from head, going down drain area.

Falat is describing scene. Says photo he's being shown is accurate: No water in tub. Drain was down. Parts of her hair were wet.

I think he is the one who questioned it being an accident.

Keep in mind this is ISP. ISP are highway patrol. Their main job is to patrol the highways so they may not have an overall high number of homicides that cumulatively investigated by the ISP. Most homicides would be investigated by the city/village or town, or county in unincorporated area's. I hope that makes sense.
