I don't know why but I always feel worse knowing the hell these women went through the last days, weeks and years of their lives. It's bad enough they were murdered - but even worse knowing they had no peace in those last days.

:tears:

IMO the whole trial depends on the Pastor's testimony .

If they can cast ANY doubt on ANYTHING the pastor says it will really hurt the case.

You all are doing a FANTASTIC job of keeping the world informed.

Thank you so much.

I would agree with that.
I'm hoping the Pastor's testimony is rock solid

The only thing I can think that they would question is why he didn't tell the Savios. But don't most people know that pastors are supposed to keep secrets? They have to be wondering why he's able to speak now... Wouldn't they wonder about Stacy at this point?

I am just so happy they let this in. It's been too long where these kinds of testimonies haven't been allowed due to loopholes.

They are going to try to use salacious accusations of improper behavior. They tipped their hand with the "she was seducing you" comment. IMO they have nothing but mud.

I wonder what the judge would say if during deliberations the Jury asked about Stacie?

I think if all they have is mud, it's just going to look like it did today.
Roughing up a Pastor.

That thought has crossed my mind as well! I'll have to ask one of our verified attorneys and see what they say.

Since the jurors are local, I would think most, if not all of them, know SP is missing. If any don't, the others can fill them in.

I'm already thinking on how long deliberations will last...

I can't handle my job anymore when I have a trial to follow. Why can't these people get it? lol

Thanks so much to all of you for posting updates. My boss is away next week so hopefully I'll be able to help out.:blowkiss:

I think this has been a good week for the prosecution!! Wait a sec...maybe I should stay away from this thread? It was a disaster when I was posting updates. :what:

What colour is the jury wearing today? I haven't gone back that far yet.

I am already anticipating verdict watch. It is going to be hard for me to get through. I will be so devastated if DP walks.

I think this jury will take more time than the Pinellas 12 did. I just hope we do not have a hung jury.

Yesterday and today has been really good for the prosecution. Let's hope it stays that way!

I would love to have Jeff ruby on my radio show. He could talk as long as he wants and say what he wants. I only have Rubys restaurant number.

Anyone know how to contact him please email me [email protected]

" I live with a murderer"....I wonder why Lopez would have asked something so blunt. I just don't think that the DT is THAT stupid. If this was something that she had explicitly said and it wasn't something that the DT wanted to be brought out, then they are idiots. I had the impression that it was something implied with everything else that she was saying though........I am not an attorney and am wondering what this means for us.
I am very happy about todays testimony. I just don't want there to be any hitches. Did she say it point blank or did she imply it by everything else that she said about him not being home the night before Kathleen was found dead, how he walked in the house with the bag of women's clothes that weren't hers, etc, etc.
What do you think about that question by Lopez? I bolded it when I first relayed it here on WS because I was stunned at the bluntness........

In Session Schori says he met Stacy in public “for reasons of integrity.” He justifies not telling anyone about what she told him because “I believed that I should do what she wanted me to do.” “She said, ‘I live with a murderer’?” “Yes.” “And you let her go back there? You didn’t stop her?” “It’s not my job to stop people.” “You told the jury that Stacy told you she lived with a murderer?” “Those were not her words, but yes.” “So it was your understanding that Stacy lived with someone who committed a murder?” “Right.” “Of a wife?” “Right.” “And you let her go right back there?” “I didn’t stop her.” “Because you didn’t believe her!” “Not true.” bbm

LOL! He would be a great guest but you would never get him to shut up even for a moment!

Ruby would certainly be very candid with you, Tricia!

oh man, now that would be something.
He hates Drew going by his tweets.

Excuse my ignorance..how much longer is the trial..or defense words..Show...suppose to last? thanks.

  • #978
I think the prosecution has indicated they will rest their case maybe even tomorrow. Then the real circus begins. No idea how long the defense show will run.

  • #979
I think it is nice that he councils people in public places.....it makes it
more relaxed for the person needing an understanding ear.
Lopez's mocking it being Starbucks versus Dunkin Donuts is only making him out to look like an arse

bbm

I agree, Windy -- it also protects the pastor and the one being counseled from any hints of hanky-panky, or whatever, to use an old, old word. It's a good idea in my opinion, and it would make me more relaxed. You can always go to a booth or a table in a corner somewhere & be private, but still be in a public place. Different strokes...

Well, then I have that one thing in common with him!
