I did attend the morning, session, sleuthers. I got there about 8:45AM and was issued a ticket to get in and I was literally the last one in the room.
As you know, there was a long delay regarding what Schori said previously and how he was going to testify today.
The long and the short of it was he could not refer to it as the: "perfect murder". The judge was visibly peeved at Glascow and told him to: "stop" twice as Glascow was arguing as to what should be allowed.
I have to say it came off as the prosecution being unprepared again. Finally the jury gets called in at 10:45AM and the judge simply told them: "Good morning" without any explanation as to the long delay.
Right before the jury came in, Brodsky jokingly said to the judge: "Oh, one more thing" as if to suggest he was going to keep the delay going and the judge laughed. As impatient as the judge has been to the prosecution, I did not like the laughing between him and Brodsky.
I felt Schori was very good but I do not like the fact he had someone come with him the second time they met based on the phone call he received from SP. It made it seemed he did not trust her.
Joe Lopez was as low as you can get with the comment about SP wanting to seduce Schori. It drew a gasp from the gallery.
The jurors were listening intently and many were taking notes during Schori's testimony.
There was an observer (not me) who was escorted from the courtroom because he supposedly told Drew to F off. I did not hear or see it but when we left the morning session, the sheriff was in the hall and told anyone who witnessed it to stay behind as they needed their info for a potential criminal witness.
Lots of fireworks for sure.
