his gun that gashed in the back of her head.

I am so with you WS amiga about being mystified as to why in the name of GGE there wasn't ANY info taken from the scene for testing.
This is an outrage and a tragedy of EPIC proportions.

I can see him ordering her up the stairs at gun point and making her kneel in the bathroom. Especially after the testimony where he purportedly held a knife to her for so long that she asked him just to get it over with. She might have knelt over the toilet and then he might have bashed in her head with the butt of the gun.

I will never get over being mystified as to why investigators on the scene didn't do a routine of dusting for prints, etc., as there had yet been no autopsy and they had no proof of an accident, evidence being to the contrary (which has been discussed at length). I can only conclude that with the exception of the one who was a rookie (and saw the purse), they ignored these things on purpose. The only reason could be that they knew it was DP. Who knows what if any skeletons were rattling in their closets that he could out them on?

There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE to suggest that Kathleen Savio was taking a bath except her body being in the tub. All evidence is to the contrary. The jury has to see this. And now they've heard about DP discussing a hit on her, and the testimony that Stacey was forced to make up an alibi. They are going to remember those things. I don't think they can/will let him walk.

One HLN commentator said that not too far back this section of Illinois was almost a frontier town, with cowboy justice. Those good old boys have some history together, just IMO....

if he killed her in morning, why did he wash clothes in the middle of the night?
IIRC wasn't SP looking for DP at night also, he wasn't home?
He made sure Stacy could never tell...............thank goodness she told pastor.

DP was and is a huge bully, yet has the PT showed or been allowed to prove this?
He used his badge to stalk etc.

The "alibi receipts" ...

JMO, but it was totally wrong for the judge NOT to allow the Pros Team to enter those receipts into evidence ... the receipts were kept clearly for one purpose only, and that was "alibi building" by DP ...

You can bet IF the situation were reversed -- and it was the Def Team who wanted those receipts entered into evidence -- this judge would have ruled in DP's favor ... :banghead:

Not to go off topic here, but these receipts that DP kept for his "alibi building" reminds me of the receipts that Terri Horman [Kyron Horman's step-mother] was running around getting the morning Kyron went missing -- she was "alibi shopping" ... these receipts were part of her "alibi building" :banghead:

While I understand these cases are different and entirely different situations -- the bottom line is the same :

Both DP and TH were clearly "alibi building" by going to certain businesses and keeping the receipts, when BOTH of their VICTIMS were already deceased IMO ... :banghead:

I hope this comparison made sense ... but the judge should have allowed these receipts in today ... his BIAS is absolutely :maddening:

MOO ...

The funny thing is that the most damning evidence against him (imo) is evidence that the judge WILL NOT allow in! The fact DP kept useless receipts from 3 years prior would lead any logical thinking person that he did this to create his alibi.

I do not keep receipts from yesterday, let alone 3 years ago for stuff that is insignifigant. I am still wondering why this evidence is not allowed.

How would the defense try and blow that off as no big deal?

Isn't it tonight that Casey Anthony finishes her probation?

I will never again feel certain that someone will not be acquitted.

"Trick me once shame on you .Trick me twice ,shame on me" :maddening:

:seeya: Thanks for the "warning", Miss James ... and JMO, everyone should be on alert ! No telling where she'll end up !

Back to topic ... I hope and :please: that this jury is NOT another Pinellas 12 !

:please:

about Rev. Schori having a license were ridiculous...he is a pastor. Pastors, priests, ministers don't necessarily have MSW's or PhD's in psych.....they are there to help people with their issues from a humanistic and spiritual dimension.
The fact that they met at Starbucks was neither bizarre nor suggestive of anything. The jury would have to be DENSE to think otherwise.
I know many priests who meet parishioners for coffee, lunch, dinner, etc to connect and talk about things that are on their mind. Nothing wrong with it and it is commonplace and decent.
Once again more salacious revolting innuendo from the gangsta "dream team"
Pukes!

I Agree.

Also, equally ridiculous when Lopez asked him if he ' took any notes' or kept a log of her visits. Seriously?

Can you imagine pouring your heart out to your pastor, and he is writing things down, and filling out a log?

Again from my neighbor, who lived up in DP territory for many years (actually grew up there)...she said her cousin (in her 20's, early 20's) was at a party with other peeps in their 20's several years ago and Drew shows up. People were like WTH is the old dude doing here at our party? She said he was trying to 'hang out' (probably scoping out young girls, IMO). That's all!

stalked Stacy out while she was meeting with a male friend at Denny's. It was said that he drove around the restaurant in his squad car.
I remember that this man said that Drew threatened him and asked him how he would feel if someone were talking to his wife.
Was that the man that Stacy was interested in but didn't pursue or was that
the Army Captain that was the twin brother of a former boyfriend that the judge wouldn't allow to testify?
Rev. Schori's testimony was GREAT. I do still wish that the friend had been able to testify too--that was ridiculous.

I didn't know that Drew "invited" the Rev. Schori to take a ride on his plane. He owned an airplane? This guy owned a 300K house outright, had a mortgage on another, was paying child support and owned a plane on a cops salary? He is crooked as they come......

I also think he was a little afraid of DP. He admitted that he had heard some rumors in church about the death of KS being suspicious. Maybe he needed someone to watch his back in case DP showed up angry. For all he knew, DP would be following Stacy and would be very upset if she was telling family secrets.

Remember the phone message that DP left for the pastor? I don't think the jury got to hear it, ever. But IIRC, DP called him and said " I hear you met with my wife for coffee. Would you like to have a meeting with me too and take a ride on my airplane? Or something like that...

I think the pastor's testimony is definitely Peterson's undoing. There's no way around it....and obviously, the jurors know that Stacy Peterson cannot be there to testify so the pastor has to give his version of his conversation with her.

On another note & a little off topic...

Surely in Savio's $300,000 home there was more than 1 bathroom/bathtub. Did police ever check out the other bathrooms I wonder??

You're not alone. Most people would not keep a cash receipt unless it was for reimbursement from their employer, or a purchase for an item that could be returned. Receipt for donuts? Ironic and laughable! :floorlaugh:

I am not sure. I thought it was the guy who flew in from Germany to testify, but I am not certain.[ bbm]

Yes, he had a private plane. he did pretty well for himself. I have always wondered if he didnt have some illegal thing going on on the side.

  • #1,157
IIRC, DP bought Stacy a car...also had a nice car himself...and let's not forget his 'ultra-light plane' which doesn't come cheap and also renting space for it at a local airport. Yeah....this guy was dirty in many ways.

Plus she had her own motorcycle, a Harley IIRC. Not cheap. I dunno what his cops salary was per month but his pension is $6000 a month, and in my world, that's nothing to sneeze at!

It was a real small (only 1 person) UltraLight plane. Two wings, a seat and a little buzz-buzz motor. Not enclosed, and IMO looked dangerous to me. I'll see if I can find a good link
