The State calls its next witness: Scott Rossetto (questioned by prosecutor Glasgow). #DrewPeterson

Rosetto is 40 yo, lives in Germany, has a bachelor's degree in nursing, and is a captain in the U.S. Army.

“In 2001, did you have occasion to meet Stacy Cales?” “I did.”

Rossetto said he met Stacy at his house Oct. 25, 2007. Objections start.

How did you first meet her?” “My brother was seeing her.” “How long did your brother date her?” “Just a few months.”

In October, 2007, he received a phone call from Stacy. “Her last name had become Peterson.”

:what::what: Has anyone ever seen this before ?

Today was the 1st time I heard that they all wore red the other day.

I find it INTERESTING what they are doing, but not cute or amusing at all.

Since the DT is so icky, I would have liked to see a professional-acting jury.

Also I have never ever heard of a jury being chosen 2 yrs prior to trial. Yeah, sure, they never in those 2 years heard any news or read any articles about DP and Stacy being missing, etc. Pfffffttttt, whatever.

jury being taken out of room after four minutes of questioning of Rosetto. Defense says that state gave them misleading info

No,and I hope she means they each wore something that was red ,not that they each wore all red. Can you imagine the men in red pants and shirts?
Shades of the Pinellas 12.

OMG! The afternoon session begins 30 minutes late and 2 minutes in the jury is asked to leave again! This is a joke.

:maddening:

I'm still not going to get my hopes up.....there is one major thing lacking that was also missing with CA.....that is a physical evidence tie to the dump site.....wondering if the PT has any physical evidence linking DP to the bathroom or bathtub or KS body?

I would like to know if Kathleen's mug in the microwave and the OJ jug were ever checked for fingerprints? Cos DP's prints on either would be significant (to me, at least)

This is beyond ridiculous!!! The judge is an #^%$ for allowing this to go on in his courtroom!

Pros John Conner apparently told Greenberg the talk happened on 10/22. Judge says they'll have to call Conner to impeach.

judge is clearly getting irritated again — even said Conner would be out of the case if he's put on the stand.

Most likely not checked and even if they were he probably had gloves on.

OMG, Vinnie and Mike have motor mouths today!

Mike has surprised me the way he argues like the defense in this case.

He's an experienced police officer, he won't have left anything as obvious as fingerprints anywhere incriminating.

Glasgow says he told Greenberg today that Rossetto would testify about 10/25. "He didn't say anything, and so I proceeded." #DrewPeterson

"Brief recess" ... then we'll see if Rossetto testimony continues. #DrewPeterson

judge says info state has given defense about Rosetto's conversation with Stacy "is shifting like the sand."

Glasgow says he told Greenberg today that Rossetto would testify about 10/25. "He didn't say anything, and so I proceeded."

Glasgow: "This all has to do with a date. Not the content."

Rossetto testimony may not continue today because of date discrepancy

In Session The sidebar ends. The witness and the jurors are excused from the courtroom. Greenberg: “I raised the issue of when this conversation took place . . . who am I now going to call if I have to impeach this? . . . they’re prepping their witnesses, and they told us before lunch that it was the 22nd; all of a sudden, he’s on the stand and he’s saying it’s the 25th.” Glasgow: “That was a misunderstanding.” Judge: “Did your office advise them that the conversation took place on the 22nd?” Glasgow: “I did not do that, Your Honor.” Judge: “But previous to that, Mr. Connor, you advised them that the conversation took place on the 22nd?” Connor acknowledges that he mistakenly told the defense just before lunch that the date was Oct. 22nd.” The judge says that the defense can call Connor as its impeachment witness, but that would end his role as a prosecutor in this case. Glasgow instead offers a stipulation, but the defense isn’t sure it wants to agree. The judge grills Connor on what exactly it was that was said to the defense. Judge to Glasgow: “I’m not saying you did it personally. But your office is responsible . . . you’re vouching for the credibility of this witness . . . are you going to stipulate that you advised the defense of false information about this witness? I didn’t create this situation. It’s as if the sand is shifting on a momentary basis.”

But were Kathleen's prints on them ,in the pattern that would reflect her holding the glass to sip the juice,etc....?
Maybe Drew set it up because he knew he would have strong morning alibis.
