OK...best I could do was a....Black 1997 Grand Cherokee vs. Black 1999 4Runner.

I couldn't find the green in the 1999 4Runner model year, but, ElizaA's pic shows the color on Cindy's well enough. Unfortunately, the angle isn't the same in these pics...

Can someone direct me to the "car chase" information, please.

Even I would not mistake a 4Runner for a GC. Especially a dark green car versus a black car. GA knew what car it was.

Did KC know that she was being followed?

I think you're spot on, Bond. I can totally see GA mistaking the jeep for the 4Runner.

I can also understand him mistaking the vehicle if he saw his daughter driving it. His mind would have ignored the minor differences between the vehicles.

And if she was in Tony's jeep the day GA saw her and chased her then it would also explain CA not telling LE and allegedly denying that Casey took her car (because maybe Casey did not!). I think you may really be onto something here!

Something is very fishy with this e pass stuff.

Its also strange that KC never spent more than a few nights away from the house and is all of a sudden gone with Caylee a month and these GP arent more worried.

Epass info turns out to be confused/complicated (as one poster put it "diluted") by the ability to share or transfer btw vehicles. But "kudos" to those able to cipher through all the Epass data, xreferencing w pings, etc (even if it is, at times raising more q's than it's answering lol) I thought VERY early on tolls might ultimately help break this case--although thinking more of traffic and toll CAMS since as we can see, passes can be misleading. (And it's slightly OT but since you asked... I think reason A's weren't more worried or doing more during Caylee's absence is because it was following their heated argument, kicking KC out etc; combined maybe w/ hopes that KC might even for once be stepping up and acting like a mom, or maybe just being vindictive... but all of which, w/ her constant reassurances, created enough confusion.) Great job those who are piecing together all this though--not my strong suit I'm afraid, but "the devil is in the details." JMO

That's funny, I had the opposite thought... that if GA was close enough to recognize it was his daughter driving, surely he could not have mistaken the color or make... JMO

I think part of it is exactly as you said, but part of the reason the A's didn't follow up when KC moved out was that they were enjoying the lack of drama.

ITA- I drive a pretty common car in my area, a Honda accord and my husband has a double cab Tundra, also very common. I don't know if its because I once worked in an auto parts store or not- but when I am out and about, I see a bunch of Tundras- same color even- that I can quickly distinguish whether it is our car or not. Chrome bumpers, certain magnets or license plates, etc. Also vice versa- he can pretty quickly determine if its me. I find it very hard to believe that he was not actually chasing Cindy's car.

Here's an idea to work with...I know it still takes some work (e.g. dunno where Cindy would've been), but, still doable, IMHO...

George states he's working Sun-Thu schedule. He also states at the end of the month he's working some extra...going in early. He doesn't state the circumstances of his seeing Casey leaving the house (e.g. where he was at the time), but, it almost seems that he may be driving up to the house since he sees her leaving the house (like he wasn't there at the time) and decides to give chase.

EPass records for 6/29 8:48AM, 8:53AM & 9:09AM agree with the route he described taking in the "chase" scene, and IMHO, the brief time period between toll booths suggests he was moving at a decent rate of speed. Someone could calc the ave speed using google to locate the booths, get distance and diff. in timestamps if interested.

There are no cell records from Casey <10:25AM 6/29 until she texts Amy asking about her gas can (recall the Pontiac is @ Amscot allegedly out of gas).

Speculation: Casey attempted to use Tony's dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee to retrieve gas cans from the Anthony's home 6/29 <10:25AM and was surprised by George driving up. She spotted him driving up at a distance and pulled away in time for George not to get close enough to notice it was a Jeep GC vs. Cindy's Toyota 4Runner. IF George saw Casey he may not have payed close attention to the vehicle (your mind will convince you something is true if you believe it to be) and it would make sense to him she'd be in the 4Runner vs. another vehicle altogether.

This would explain:
(a) why Casey would be @ the house in something other than the Pontiac,
(b) why George thought she was in Cindy's 4Runner,
(c) why there are no EPass records for Cindy's 4Runner matching George's HHR
(d) why the first cell activity of the day is a Plan "B" to Amy about gas cans
(e) why Cindy would state that it never happened since she likely knew her 4Runner never went missing.
(f) why George's epass account establishes him traveling ~86mph between tolls

Here's a quick & dirty side-by-side view from the back of Grand Cherokee & 4Runner. These aren't the same model years or colors involved...FYI only.

That makes it all add up, except GA is a cars man. He knows his cars well. I can't see him getting the two models mixed up.
ETA- And surely he would have noticed the lic plate, being an ex cop?

Yes, it's in the first doc dump 400pgs, statement from Tom's Auto repair:

1997 black Jeep Grand Cherokee

Cindy's info from the EPass statement:

1999 green Toyota 4Runner

There are lots of, at least partial, images of Cindy's 4Runner when she's interviewed in the driveway and it's parked in the garage behind her. Its a very dark green, IMHO.

I've got a black Jeep and it can easily look that dark green color w/a nice coat of pollen- which is prevalent around here- or was in June anyway.

Maybe asked already but on the 15th of July it looks like both cars were using to epass to go to the airport? Any explanation for this?

LA stated in one of his interviews with LE that he is color blind. It is likely GA may also have the color blind gene. Does this help with your theory Bond?

Thanks, mom2chloe.

I hadn't caught the colorblind reference. At this point its up to each individual's own personal standard of proof. For me, its already over the bar, but, "to each his/her own".

Something is hinky about this EPass stuff. You'd think that Cindy would have taken Caylee to visit her dad in the 4Runner. And the story is (or has been) that they stayed for DINNER with grandma in Mt. Dora. Maybe its just me, but I thought that meant evening time. Here it shows that she left near there house around 9am, but returned to their house around 2:30 pm. I don't know how far away Mt. Dora is, but if the video at the nursing home was taken right around noon, it doesn't look like they had much time for homemade chili and PBJ's at great-grandma's house before the 4Runner is making a return trip home. Is there any reason Cindy would not want to admit being back that the house the afternoon of the 15th? Or is Casey driving the 4Runner that day? It looks like, from her cell records, that SHE leaves the Anthony house right around 9 am that morning, and then her phone is silent until nearly 1pm. What was she doing that morning?

Maybe CA refers to lunch as dinner. Some people refer to meals as breakfast, lunch and dinner, and some refer to breakfast dinner and supper/ Maybe her dinner was at lunch time. just a thought.

Coley & SuziQ are interested in George's movements post-7/15.

Here's a starting point for dissecting via EPass records.

I expect to have made some errors in the "Speculated Activity" column. These are just starting points. In subsequent posts, call out a Spec Activitity# you are referencing (e.g. fix # error, or # was to somewhere other than jail, etc.).

Thank you. Between what you've put together and the recent revelations in the FBI interview, the pieces are really falling together...or falling apart for the Anthony's.

So the day before GA presumably takes a route to work that would be normal. But on the 16th, he's taking a different route?

IIRC, he had to attend a spec. mtg. 7/16. (Cindy urged him to go per Bond hearing testimony). He's basically working as a security guard, so his work locations/assignments prolly change over time. He may goto the agency office for a meeting, then, gets dispatched to an assignment site to work or train, etc.

IIRC, George was working a hotel convention sorta thing on one of these key dates, but, that's completely from memory...could be waaaay off. I'm sure someone more familiar w/ his statements, etc. can fill in the details.

Gotta scoot!

Didn't GA say in the FBI interview that he knew it was CA's car because it had a panda(?) sticker in the back window and you couldn't miss it......he even showed with his hands the approximate size of the sticker???
