Niagara region here. I was on the couch and it shook quite hard for about 10 seconds and I am embarrassed to say I thought it was a ghost or something. Earthquake was the last thing on my mind. My son felt nothing, he was laying on his bed.
Yep, I even ran under the door frame. I don't know how long it lasted though, it seemed long.So you felt it Moe? I didn't feel a thing.

Thanks, I'm not very experienced with what to do, must have had that tidbit somewhere in my brain. It might not be a bad idea for me to do a little reading.Hi...glad you are ok and hope everyone else is, too, just "all shook up" and nothing more!
I thought I had saved a copy of the new recommendations of what to do in event of an earthquake (my son lives in LA) but looked for it and so far I haven't found it but one thing I remember is that now it is not recommended that you get in a door frame. Will just throw that out while I go back and comb through my computer to see where I put the info......I can get so LOST on here!!!
I probably originally found it on WS's.....where I get most of my news and info...lol...so some of you may have it already?????????
You guys are making me laugh with your descriptions!LOL!
I am glad everyone is ok so far and hope other WS members check in and all is fine.
Wow! How often do we have an earthquake in the eastern US? There seems to be alot of unusal 'Acts of God' and weather events and earthquakes and volcanic activity and manmade disasters on this planet in the recent months!
Hurricane season us upon us and I feel dread.
I hope everyone stays safe and be ready for those aftershocks!
Welcome to our new WS memebers! :~)
