Emergency Hearing re: remains-UPDATE MOTION DENIED

  • #161
She is a big mouth know-it-all, IMO, she is not a good lawyer.
Her actions today were proof, she has no knowledge of the FL Code,
everything she asked for was shot down, except for the defense being able to examine the crime scene once the State has finished with it.

And she really didn't get that because she has filed nothing to ask for it. Duhhhhhhhh Go to court - ask for a ruling with NO MOTION.........These people have nothing together.

I am just thrilled to learn they found more hair! Great! (Means we have to argue more death banding here tho...ugh.)

Part of me doesn't want KC to have a decent lawyer, which is why I've enjoyed her time with Ho-zay, but this is America and we all deserve either the best defense we can pay for, or who shows up to work for free for any publicity our case can garner them. Besides, if the creature doesn't get a good defense, she has a better shot on appeal. Even the creature should get a good defense. I say that even though I almost choke on those words. I just hope it's not good enough to get her off for a crime she did commit! Laughing at Ho-zay was fun, though. I'm going to miss that. Oh well, onward and upward. I believe God caused Caylee to be found. Now, if KC is guily, hopefully, he'll also come up with an airtight case since competent council appears to have finally shown up.

Everyone on TV is asking is...........WHERE is all this money coming from to hire all these expensive experts.

Where is all the "dough" coming from?

It is coming form the exploitation of a small child. There is no money, they want to get rich on the big case. Very sad. IMHO.

Tru TV is talking about this - NOW the big question as posed by guests, Beth Karas and host - WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM? These attorneys and specialists are not cheap - the A's are not rich - so who is paying for all this?

Are all these people doing this out of the goodness of their hearts?

I am thinking they think either her neck was broken or her head was beaten for them to be calling in a forensic anthropologist..........the defense knows something about the skull.

Is there a legal way to find out about attorney payment court costs and expert witness fees?

How did Strickland rule on a motion that was not written yet? Didn't the prosecution object?

Another example that proves Baez's inexperience...no motion on the crime scene...but they argued it anyway as if he had....

Henry Lee lost all his credibilty during the Spector Trial too. How many regular Joes that will be on the jury will remember that?

Can the D.A. bring his ethics into the trial?

Sorry, O/T:

MODS...is there anything we can do about the amout of guests that busy up the servers?

I hope that doesn't sound mean, but it's impossible to get one, and several of us members have been following the whole time and can't get on! TIA! Example, right now, there are 111 members on this thread and 182 guests....

With a "private" defense, not that I know of. Maybe the prosecutor, could file a motion to get it, but I don't see them getting it.

He can expect it to be front and center....I am hoping they are working behind the scenes right now to determine if Lee even has a degree.

Tru TV talking about accident or deliberate murder

Chloroform used as a babysitter

Will Casey take the stand saying it was an accident - I wanted to go out and party and she died by accident - I panicked and staged the kidnapping

Seeing the prosecution team, Law Enforcement, and Medical Examiner really gave me goosebumps. It's Caylee's team, ready to do battle on behalf of "that little girl".

Team Casey looked bloated and arrogant.
IMO

And unprepared and confused- mostly our boy JB.

I am completely aware of who is paying for the prosecution, KC's coleslaw, and all of the investigation, discovery, collection, testing, etc of the evidence - ME, my Florida tax dollars and as I understand it - in the millions so far! I want payback! You think they will make KC hold a "job" in prison? She will have to go to that job! Maybe she will get to do the laundry everyday and Florida citizens should drop theirs off regularly for her to do to pay us back!!!LOL

JMO-but they are trying to dazzle the juror pool...any of you read the Temperence Brennan series of books or watch Bones? Kathy Reichs bases all of it on herself....
