They're opening it back up! Remains to be seen if it'll go anywhere, but sheesh it was good to see his name tonight!

I swear there was an actual thread here somewhere on Websleuths about Eric, but I cannot find it now.

Lots of discussion over on the Unsolved Mysteries forum on Sitcoms Online. Eric was featured on the TV series. I believe it’s possible LE might know something or that they bungled the case. At the very least.

Eric Tamiyasu was murdered in June 2001 at his home in Hood River, Ore. Now, nearly 25 years later his family is still searching for answers.According to the Hood River County Sheriff (HRCS), the Tamiyasu case is "a cold case that is not being actively investigated." A spokesperson tells KATU News, right now the case is with the major crimes team for review. The major crimes team did not exist at the time Tamiyasu was murdered."I wonder why it's taken so long. If they moved on it sooner, it probably would have come to light what really happened, who did this and why," Ramona Tamiyasu, Eric's sister told KATU. She says her brother was found on the last Friday in June 2001.His death was deemed a homicide just a few days later.
