Europol, Stop Child Abuse – Trace an Object - help ID victims.

The Nestle book looks like some kind of promotional recipe or coupon booklet to me. It's so hard to read what is on the top! Could be Sorvetes, Helado, or even Savory. All Latin American brands of Nestle.

According to a post on reddit, "this is an advertisement for Sorvetes Nestlé, an ice cream brand from Nestlé sold in Brazil (and possibly in other South American countries as well)"

Also, according to another redditor in the same thread; numbers 8 and 9 are cricket food/supplements. 8 is Fluker's Orange Cube, and number 9 looks like it is Fluker's Cricket Quencher

Well, for one thing, it often isn't possible to publish an identifiable picture of the child without also showing the sex act they're engaged in, and I'm sure you can see why that would be a bad idea.

I'm not sure what you mean by "we" - I doubt anyone in this thread has access to child abuse images (at least I hope not). The decision of whether to publish or not lies with highly trained and experienced police investigators. They'll have reasons for their decision that we're not necessarily privy to.

I'm not aware of evidence that publishing victims' photos always leads to quick identification or rescue. We've been discussing precisely ONE case where this happened.

The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children claims to have assisted in the recovery of over 200,000 children, largely assisted by broadcasting the child's picture in various means, including Amber Alerts, milk cartons, posters, billboards, media, etc. There is no doubt that doing so has proven to be effective.

However, there is a requirement for parental consent before the child's picture is used. The problem with child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 is that there are times when the child's picture is available, but no one knows who the child is, and no one is found who can give consent to use the picture in an attempt to rescue the victim. It's quite possible that a parent is victimizing the child.

It's wonderful that Europol is asking for assistance in identifying items, probably in order to identify the country of origin of the photograph, but it's a long and challenging route to rescuing child victims. I believe that where children are exploited in this way, the requirement for parental consent should be waved.

Sometimes, pictures of the abused children would be of no help. There are many kids 'born into' pedo rings. And some are secretly adopted by traffickers.

So many times, no one would recognize the kids identities, even if the pictures were shown. I have read true life stories of children who were living in these dire, vile situations and were home schooled and kept under lock and key.

Anything about what they mean with advertisement? Do they mean a (recipe)book, or something like that, a folder about the products. I do believe the logo is from an ice-cream product (the only logo like this, in different country's, they use for ice-cream product, except Cresco, but I don't see the "yellow drop") This particular picture though I do not associate with an ice-cream product...most logical thought is that it is indeed a book or something like that. About a possible product like this I also checked out packages of ice-cream topping, crunch or the like....but couldn't find such product resembling this picture.

I did click on the one that I think is a blue dressing gown with white clouds that I have seen for sale in Australia.

Yes I think I've seen this in U.K. too but the problem is that it's a common looking pattern and material so I can't be certain

Re the carousel in picture 18 I think it was on the WS site - I have an exact same one of these albeit the colour in mine is more cream and gold . I cannot recall the shop but it was purchased for my twins bedroom when they were first born in December 2006 into early part 2007 in Southport, Lancashire, England postcode area PR8/PR9.
I've tried to submit this direct to the trace a child page but the photo no longer appears for me to report on it !

The problem with many food products is that they are exported all over the world

That looks so much like a pet bed rather than a cushion. I have been Googling it but can't seem to find a similar pattern.

I thought that too.

It possibly could be. I thought it was the Pokemon Bulbasaur holding Pikachu.

Could the ‘pink blob’ be the Pokemon character called a ‘Jigglypuff’? And the green one a ‘Squirtle’?

Oh yes. Let me search that.

Bohemian, I remember when I was a child my parents used to buy cookies in a heart shaped box. I think the box was blue. It looks very similar to the box above the cloud pjs. Would you know if it's still sold in Australia or what it is called?

It reminds me of a tin of ‘Dutch Cookies/Shortbreads but they are in sold in round tins. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ‘box’ of them and I don’t remember seeing ‘heart-shaped’ ones.
