"Everyone Lies, Everyone Dies" - Casey's MS, "Diary of Days", Blog Entry

  • #181
The Diary of Days, "everyone lies, everyone dies", posted by Casey was on July 7th, IIRC. Did she bring up this song/poem on the laptop before then, around the 2nd ? I always thought her "everyone lies" statement was a direct response to Cindy's My Space comments about the many lies Casey has told. The "everyone dies" part, IMO, was deliberate.

The longer this case goes on, the more my memory strains for information...

I know we're bouncin' back 'n forth a bit on the threads, but, the computer forensics indicate the DoD file was created 7/2: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4631926&postcount=111"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - "I'm a spiteful B!tch"...Casey quote[/ame]

Thank You for bumping this back up, BondJamesBond. I know I started connecting the "spiteful b!tch" statement to the DOD. I find it fascinating that both Casey and Cindy left a trail of their battle and their feelings on myspace. Don't know how Cindy can deny a big fight happened sometime in June 2008 because it seems to be revealed by them for the whole world to see that there was, in fact, an ongoing spiteful battle going on between them.

bumpity bump for discussion

Since we are looking at Cindy's MySpace message, I thought we could look at Caseys' Diary of Days response?

  • #186
Yes, Cindy's myspace message and Casey's DOD seem to go together to tell a story of spiteful, jealousy and betrayal combined with everybody lying and dying. However, Cindy swears everything was pretty good and no big fight. This is just everyday normal communication between them it seems. What big fight?

If you look at the record of 911 calls from that house, there were many fights that required Police intervention. In April/May 2005 alone there were four calls, 2 listed as Verbal and 2 as Disturbance. That was no cozy scene of domestic bliss, it was one long power struggle.

Back in April/May 2005, Casey was pregnant and NO ONE knew. All the fighting around a secretly pregnant woman/girl. :shakehead:

I remember seeing those records but would like to read them again. Does anyone have a link handy?
I've been searching for it in different terms, but I just get a gajillion hits about CA's 'dead body in the damn car' call.

TIA

Hello WS :)

With great power,
Comes great consequence.

This line has always bugged me since I read it. I had always heard the line as: "with great power, comes great responsibility." I knew it was a famous quote but I didn't know by who. In my searching, it seems people attribute the quote to Stan Lee(Spiderman's creator) or FDR.

"With great power comes responsibility." FDR

"With great power comes great responsibility" Stan Lee

"With great power comes great consequence." Casey Anthony

The Stan Lee quote is very much like the FDR quote, either way it gets the same message across. From the time I first read Casey's version, I found it funny that she did not finish the quote with the real word: responsibility but chose consequence, instead.

You can save above attachment to your desktop and make it bigger and then will be able to read it. Sorry it is so small.

After we learned which movies Tony and Casey rented the night of June 16, people researched them and found out that the line "with great power comes great consequence" was featured in the movie "Jumper."

Quote Respect AZlawyer :)

Ohhhh. Okay. So, that line has been used a lot I see... :)

Thanks

ETA: I grew up with the other quote. I did see that people were talking about the movie "jumper" but I was still so sure I knew that quote from somewhere else. With the change of one word, they really are different quotes though and really shows Casey's mind. IMO.

Thanks AZLawyer.

Of course it was copied from something else. KC is just not that deep. She tries to portray an image of herself as being real abstract and intellectual, but it's all a facade and almost always mimicking of someone/something else.

Even in her video/phone calls and her interrogations, she usually parrots other people's sentences and picks up their terminology/vocabulary.

She spooks me out in so many ways..

Hi Guys

I can't find much of a discussion about the authour of this 'Diary of Days' being cmanthon of the gentiva corp, so sorry if this post is just a duplicate of someone elses thoughts that have been answered i apologise.
For this document to have shown up with the Gentiva corp tag, does that mean it would have been written/posted on a computer at the Gentiva Offices? I don't understand how the Gentiva tag would be attached to it if Casey had written this at home or at a friends. Could someone with a bit of computer savvy try and explain to my very computer dense mind how that could happen. Thank you in advance.

If things were so perfect why does she tell her new version of events concerning Caylee's demise as having come about because she was SECRETLY planning to leave town with Caylee? If everything was so great as Cindy would like everyone to believe, then why was KC planning a secret run-away? Or so she claims in these new jailhouse letters...and further adds that nobody KNEW that but her defense team...Why cut and run on mommy if they were getting along so well???:waitasec:

It was written on the laptop, which was Cindy's laptop. Casey "borrowed" it when she left the house. Cindy must have entered her user name and company name when she set up the laptop.

So what you are saying is that KC logged onto her mother's work ID and sent the message? That would not be good for CA.

What happened is that when Cindy got the laptop she installed a version of Microsoft Word on the computer. During the installation process she was asked to register the software, and the registration process asks Cindy her name and where she works. The software then was being "helpful" and loaded her name and place of employment into the default Word file header. Thus, every time a Word document was created on the laptop, the header (which you normally cannot see) had Cindy's name and place of employment in it.

That information can be changed by going to the Properties option on the File menu. But most of us are too lazy to do that. :bang:
