This young woman is going to end up in the '27 club' if she doesn't seek help or if someone doesn't intervene. I fear she is in too much denial to seek help herself. I know she is legally an adult but hope that her parents can find a way legally to get her some help. Her parents should call Papa Spears and ask advice since Brit was an adult when she had her meltdown. moo

I think she just has low self esteem and is desperate for attention so she's doing anything to get it. Mollys are a rave drug and she wouldn't be tweeting at all and I doubt that she's doing bath salts since that's primarily for people who are lower income than what she can get. She's just acting out and has a mental illness stimulated by some drug use- but not those two. She's probably smoking marijuana laced with something.

Molly is used in other places besides Raves. My cousin uses it daily and posts on facebook constantly, talking crap to people, crazy status and videos all night, into the morning.

Yeah if she were on Molly she would be tweeting it. She would tell the world. She's not Amy Winehouse or Kurt Cobain caliber talent, but its sad that she's so far gone. I don't think she'll make it to 27.

she's creating her own negative press which is the best publicity - I still have no idea who she is celebrity-wise or what she's done in the entertainment industry but I now know her name and what she looks like

Well wow at that. Rupaul was classy in the way he handled it, though. She no longer has any sympathy from me. She's a brat who needs help and won't get it. She has the resources, unlike many out there with mental illnesses. I wish everyone would just unfollow her twitter, maybe start a protest. But then she would call the whole Internet ugly.

Wow so sad. Everyone she attacks her comments are always that they're ugly. Ri, intouch reporter, ugly black man, ugly white man, Courtney. Most of her tweets are about her image of herself. Very insecure girl.

This girl is having a medical issue. Whether psychological or neurological, she needs help fast. She continues to tweet about how ugly everyone is, including her own father. Deep rooted insecurities about her own looks are screaming out because whatever condition she has takes away any filter.

I can't imagine how scary this must be for her parents.

Everybody is ugly!!! LOL! She's not very creative with insults. So many people have reached out to help her, she wants none of it, so Lord help her. I am really getting over her.

I've always been a huge fan of Amanda Bynes and I am so saddened and shocked that this is happening to her. This poor girl is obviously in a downward spiral of mental illness, drugs or both. Even if she says things we take offense to, please understand she is not in her right mind. Where are her parents? Or anyone? If Britney Spears could be involuntarily committed, why can't this poor young girl get the same help? I'm scared for her.

there was an article in a recent people mag that explained that b/c brit had young children it allowed for her 5150 hold and for her father to gain the conservatorship over her. amanda has no children and as of yet, has done nothing where she has tried to harm herself or anyone else. i don't recall if brit did but i remember the ambulance at her house one night and her being taken away to the hospital where the hold was then done. i guess bizarre behavior is not enough for the law to intervene when no law has been broken...

Amanda is currently in custody under a 5150 hold. She started a fire on a strangers driveway.

Hopefully this will open doors up to getting her some help.

Where the freak is her dog and what condition is he in????? If you haven't seen a pic, he is the tiniest little Pomeranian. Did she bail and leave him there? Is he wandering around in the heat injured? This really pisses me off. I hope the Humane Society is after her *!

The eyewitness also spoke to reporters earlier today, saying he found Bynes lying down near the driveway with her left pant leg on fire. He says she quickly put out the flames and didn't appear injured, but she said her dog had been burned.

tmz has video of her after setting the fire. she enters a liquor store with her dog outstretched, obviously covered in gasoline. she enters an ''employee only'' area and when the clerk goes to confront her, she leaves. clerk said she was attempting to wash the dog off.

does anyone here know whether the 5150 hold of 72 hours is actually enough time to accomplish anything, either clinically or legally?

i suppose if her parents act fast enough they can get something accomplished in the courts, but don't know much about conservatorships. hadn't run into that at all prior to the britney spears situation. i just feel for this young woman. something is obviously, horribly wrong.
