Very true! It would be interesting to see if Cindy, George or Lee had any prints there just from handling the tape previously. Either way, it would tie it back to KC imo, since I don't believe that the A's were/are involved in anything other than the possible cover up. ...JMVHO Good thinkin seagull!

Not sure if I understand your post about prints from the Anthonys tying it back to KC, (sorry, I'm tired), but what I was referring to is the hope that there might be some patent prints from the murderer, (regardless who it is, obviously.) So, something to hope for anyway and we'll see what comes out as far as patent prints. and thanks Ruby for the semantics info! I didn't know the difference.

Hi Momtective- I see what you're looking at; however, iirc the sticker was purportedly about the size of a dime. The only image I see that vaguely resembles the outline of a heart about this size is on picture #9b32 (in the same set), about 1 cm in from the r hand side, perpendicular to the tape's length (as I imagine it would have been oriented).
Of course, it is probably dirt. :twocents:

I guess this FBI person is just one more person in the "frame" KC daisy chain...lol.
But the defense says there was no heart shaped residue on the duct tape that wasn't on Caylee's nose and mouth...so it must not be true...

This is just further proof for me that the defense is fighting on the wrong side and for the wrong person and is not on the side of truth nor justice.

I am now wondering where that portion of the pic where the heart shape is outlined would have fallen on Caylee's face or head. Was it in her hair on that side? Her cheek? Her ear? If it was in the hair, was Casey affixing it like a barrette or kiss on Caylee's head? If it was on her cheek, was it supposed to be a kiss on the cheek? On her ear, maybe it was Casey's weird way of "saying" I love you even though I know you can't hear me anymore? Or love seen but no longer heard - maybe that was a message for Cindy?

All I know is that the outlined heart area is not where I thought it would be and that is driving me nuts!

Absolutely no worries because I don't think much is 'patently obvious' when it come to the sequence of tearing the duct tape.

I just wanted to throw AZ's observations into the mix, because they made good sense to me.


Thanks for the tape pic link. I am so used to looking at the 'dirty' pics (the ones before the FBI lab packaged them), it is hard for me to recognize the clean pics.

The PowerPoint slide released today is confusing, because the photo of the tape is Q64, which was the bottom of the two crossed pieces of tape. The previously released FBI notes said the heart shape was seen on Q63 (the top of the two crossed pieces). But EF was one of the FBI people who reported personally seeing the heart shape, right? So she should know...maybe it was on Q64 and was erroneously recorded as being on Q63 in the notes.

If you look at the high-def photo of Q64 and blow up that area on the end where EF drew the heart, there is a heart shape that IMO is pretty easy to see.

I'm pretty sure this is a close up of the same piece of tape (Q63 or Q64). If I'm wrong just let me know:

What I found was confirmation that the state wanted the specifics on the tape measurements to create a computer generated visual rendition of exactly where the duct tape was placed on Caylee's face showing exactly where the heart sticker was placed. That along with Dr. Gs photos will be a visual ICA and the A clan will be hyper about viewing.

This is going to be a weird question so I apologize in advance for said weird question: Is it possible that nose hairs (nostril hairs) could have been found on the duct tape?

And a second one: regarding latents: are we certain that Caylee's latent finger prints are not on any of the duct tape pieces?
