oh I don't disagree that SM called HE from a payphone, and I don't know the reason behind it, but what I am not convinced of is what was said, and I am not sure that what HE's friend Bri said is the truth. I don't think Bri is lying, but I am not sure that HE didn't make up the whole "leaving his wife" thing to convince Bri she should go see him that night or make Bri believe that they really just might end up together , kind of a fairy tale story thing ..... she may have embellished what was said to maybe sway Bri towards agreeing that she should go and meet SM that night.....

Why would Heather call Bri and lie about it? If she didn't want Bri to know what was going on she wouldn't have even mentioned it. Bri says she called crying about the situation, if she were trying to sell it to Bri that he was leaving his wife for her she wouldn't be crying and upset...all my opinion. FWIW, I believe Bri over SM any day and I think Heather was upset over SM and what he told her.

She could have been upset that he had come back into her life and called her friend to talk about it, but because she still had feelings for him maybe she felt the need to exaggerate a little to Bri to smooth this over, maybe she was crying yet incredibly happy that he called, we don't know.... young girls can go from excited to crying to excited in 2.5 sec, trust me I know, I have 2 daughters her age and they seem to always make the guys that they know their friends are not "keen" on sound more wonderful then they are to justify their crushes....
After reading Bri's interviews she appears to be much much more wiser and mature than HE was, she knew SM was bad news, if HE wanted to see him she would have had to convince Bri it was a "good idea" somehow

I also have experience in being 18 and dating a 42 yr old man, I was CRAZY about him.... lord knows why, now that I look back, but I know where HE's mind was.... I know it far too well

Fact: a call was made from the payphone to HE from SM. She then called Bri and told her about it.
Speculation: Who said what to whom.

It could literally be either of the versions you guys have presented. I have a sister who was in an abusive relationship with a guy we (her family) all hated. She would sugar coat things with my mom and some of my other siblings but never with me. She used to call me crying all the time with her latest story of how he was being an *. If you asked my mom about him, she knew that he wasn't a "good guy" but not all of the specifics I knew. It all depends on what kind of relationship she and Bri had as to which version she shared. I hope it was the truth but it is a fact that nobody but HE and SM know. JMO

ETA: My version is that HE told Bri that b/c that is what SM told her. She had no reason to lie to her, she could have not called her if she knew Bri would not approve. Just my take on it. I don't know that for fact though, obviously.

PTF, that's such a sad interview with the family and LE. It makes me even angrier to think about the hours of searching, the pain the family and community have been put through, and to know that Heather has not being returned to her family. Let justice be served to the guilty!! I pray that the state does their job with this case and trial.

BBM - I agree, she wouldn't have even bothered calling her, it was like 2 AM and BW was out of state. It had to have been urgent enough to warrant the call.

Well regardless of what was said or why she called, I am thankful that she did call and talk to BW. It helped put the timeline together and helped arrest the M's quicker I believe. That confirmation that he used a payphone to call her in the early am, and her telling BW about it, lead the police to him quicker. JMO

The trial of Tammy and Sidney Moorer in connection with Heather Elvis' disappearance has been continued.

An order filed yesterday in Horry County Court says the case will not be heard in May, but other pretrial motions will still be held.

The continuance was agreed to by all parties, the order says.

If you think back - her roommate had no reason to 'create' something about SM - when she was questioned - Heather was simply 'missing'. Why would her roommate make something like that up? Seems to me that Heather must have told her he said that - and it would make no sense for Heather to say that if SM hadn't just said it to her. KWIM?

Regrettably, no., I don't KWYM. I don't know as much about the case as all of you do. (But I'm learning! I hope.)

I don't think SM saying that to HE is "known for sure" at all.... that was what HE's friend said she told her, which that I believe, however.... HE may not have heard those exact words from SM, she may have said it to her friend to justify seeing him again because she knew her friend did not approve of him, or he may have said other things and HE made it out to be more than it really was... because that is what SHE wanted to hear...... so in other words, I am not convinced SM ever said that, she may have been lying to her friend

So why did HE agree to meet him? If she was crying while telling BW that he was leaving his wife for her, I assume she was upset because she didn't want to be with him and either didn't have the heart to tell him that on the phone or she really did love him and (and I forgot what I was going to say, LOL.)

I guess I need to read up on that. Would an interview with BW be the best place to look?

I hate this....thats just that much more time for the idiots to argue and self-promote their cause on social media while the Elvis family waits for their day in court to hopefully have closure as to what has happened.

Every day it's almost like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Who will be arrested in this mess before the trial finally occurs? Will the tension continue to increase until someone blows finally? Or will it just continue to drone on and on with all the arguing back and forth. It's almost like when my kids were little and arguing for the sake of hearing their own voices.

Here is something I have wondered about for a while. The Ms face many charges. When this goes to trial, will they be tried for the murder, obstruction of justice and indecent exposure all in one trial? Also, the state charges of medicaid fraud - won't that be a separate trial? I wonder why nothing has been said or done about when this might occur?

Here is what they had listed per the first bond hearing:

2012 $15,193
listed themselves as waitress/cook

I don't know for certain, but I do not believe this to be the case. Looks like another lie. Didn't SM have a contractor's license in those years? Was he a cook somewhere too? What years did TM have the stay at home job with Disney? Was she a waitress in 2011 and 2012 also?

I realized my introduction left much to be desired on the start if the cruise report. I just copy and pasted the information from my other trip report so you know who we are.

I haven't written a trip report in a really long time. I cant believe its been more than three years, wow. Well, ONETREEHILLADDICT is back ya'll! For those of you who don't know me already my name is Tammy. I'm 30-10 years old and come from South Carolina. We live about 8 hours from the mouse, but this doesn't stop us from visiting him two or three, sometimes four times a year! 2012 will break a record for us. By the end of the year we will have accumulated six weeks between WDW and the Disney Dream. (We just took our first Disney cruise this month and well, we are hooked!) That is me all decked out for Pirate Night on The Dream below.

So they made $15,193.00 in 2012 and yet they set a record that year for Disney vacations. I think their actual jobs for those years were liar/thief. TM stated, on her Disboards in 2008, that they both owned their own businesses.
