EVIDENCE - Pro and Con #2

I'd say...lie.
I realized my introduction left much to be desired on the start if the cruise report. I just copy and pasted the information from my other trip report so you know who we are.

I haven't written a trip report in a really long time. I cant believe its been more than three years, wow. Well, ONETREEHILLADDICT is back ya'll! For those of you who don't know me already my name is Tammy. I'm 30-10 years old and come from South Carolina. We live about 8 hours from the mouse, but this doesn't stop us from visiting him two or three, sometimes four times a year! 2012 will break a record for us. By the end of the year we will have accumulated six weeks between WDW and the Disney Dream. (We just took our first Disney cruise this month and well, we are hooked!) That is me all decked out for Pirate Night on The Dream below.

So they made $15,193.00 in 2012 and yet they set a record that year for Disney vacations. I think their actual jobs for those years were liar/thief. TM stated, on her Disboards in 2008, that they both owned their own businesses.

P.S. Dear TM, as always, thank you for running your mouth.

I can't wait for all of this stuff to come up at the trial. I sure hope it is televised

Yes, I do not see how they can get out of the fraud charges. I don't know how relevant the financial charges will be in the murder trial, other than proving them to be liars. I assume these are separate from the other charges in the Heather Elvis case and will be tried separately by the state. Does anyone know if that is correct from a legal standpoint? If so, I wonder when the state will try them for this and what could they be waiting for?

According to this article they face up to 13 years for that alone:

"Sidney and Tammy Moorer face up to 13 years in prison on new financial charges filed against the couple already in custody following the disappearance of Heather Elvis."

As slow as things run in this state, I'm sure the case for the State charges will happen later than sooner IMO.

I had a question - does anyone know if this couple were waitresses/cooks in the years they claimed on their income tax forms in the years 2011 and 2012?

Here is what they had listed per the first bond hearing:

Only filed on income taxes:
2011 $15,520
2012 $15,193
listed themselves as waitress/cook

I don't know for certain, but I do not believe this to be the case. Looks like another lie. Didn't SM have a contractor's license in those years? Was he a cook somewhere too? What years did TM have the stay at home job with Disney? Was she a waitress in 2011 and 2012 also?

With that income, they got maximum EIC - couldn't they be up for Federal tax fraud charges also?

Just adding this to go along with TM's Disboards post.

Signed affidavits state that both Tammy and Sidney Moorer misrepresented the household income by not disclosing all the income from self-employment including that at Palmetto Maintenance Company and Magical Travel.

As a result of this misrepresentation they received Medicaid benefits they were not entitled to receive at a value of over $10,000.

I hate this....thats just that much more time for the idiots to argue and self-promote their cause on social media while the Elvis family waits for their day in court to hopefully have closure as to what has happened.

Every day it's almost like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Who will be arrested in this mess before the trial finally occurs? Will the tension continue to increase until someone blows finally? Or will it just continue to drone on and on with all the arguing back and forth. It's almost like when my kids were little and arguing for the sake of hearing their own voices.

All true...but it is also more time for Heather and/or more evidence to be found. More time for the State to get their ducks in a row and more time for TM to run her mouth on social media using her mother's name. More time for her mother to do interviews giving conflicting stories, more time for TM to watch everyone going to Disney and she can't go, and more time for the M's to wonder when the rest of their lives will be decided. I don't see them getting out of the fraud charges...they lied....period. They are going away,we just don't know for how long. JMO

Unless one of them rolls, or someone with knowledge talks, I think the state has all it has and that's the end of the evidence trail.

Have always thought this may never see a courtroom. I don't know. But have also always thought this case would have a surprise ending. I honestly think anything could happen.

I bet you anything TM is trying to get pregnant so that she can garner sympathy about serving time for the fraud, if that's all it comes to. Pregnant, needed to take care of the kids, etc, etc. I can already hear the violins...

What a sad tragedy that would be.

In his two most recent times presiding over Horry County murder cases, Circuit Court Judge Markley Dennis presented himself as the perfect Southern gentleman. Sporting a bow tie and grinning as he spoke, the affable Berkeley County judge now presiding over the Heather Elvis case has been friendly, articulate and engaging.

But beneath the pleasing persona lies a judge with a reputation of displaying a stern demeanor.

He’s a judge who, according to public records obtained by the Carolina Forest Chronicle, demands the attorneys who argue before him come to court prepared.

Attempts to reach Judge Dennis for this story were unsuccessful. A representative for Judge Dennis said he was presiding over two trials this week and generally doesn’t speak to the media about cases over which he’s presiding.

But at a judicial screening hearing in November 2014, Dennis explained why he believes so strongly in preparation.

I think I lost respect for MyHorryNews since they started charging to read the news. Guess I'll just have to go back to looking out my window. :/

Tammy Moorer's attorney has filed a motion asking for the state to return property seized when Horry County police searched her home.

McCollum's motion does not specify what property he's seeking.

Search warrants said police seized numerous digital cameras; cell phones; iPods, iPads and an iPad mini; various video game systems including three Xbox 360s and a Nintendo Wii, laptop computers and dozens of CDs. One of the CDs seized was labeled "A Bug's Life."

So these items were never found? We have been asking about the purse, wallet, keys and watch since day 1.

I noticed in search warrant returns that the cell phones said "cell brite" next to "purpose of change". I googled and found this company cellebrite www.cellebrite.com . I'm guessing that's who is analyzing the phones. I'm not tech savvy, but it appears they do forensics on phones .. I'm guessing recovering deleted things. JMO

ETA I'm not sure if they analyze or sell products that help extract info. Maybe someone else can figure that out. Lol

Okay .. I believe cellebrite offers products and training.

Wow, several I phones and Samsung galaxy's. Those are very high dollar, I'm shocked at the electronics they owned. Wow, wow, wow!
