Ex-Housekeeper Say Patsy Ramsey Killed JonBenet.

absolutely, and yes ppl w. BPD can fly into a rage in the blink of an eye over something completely minor...that's why I think the Christmas morning video disappeared..Patsy got upset over JB not liking the doll. And so JR then felt the need to write it just the opposite in DOI,in case that ever came into question (i.e.-BR recalls it).
I'm not so sure JR knew exactly what all BR had said in his interview...and so he wrote it that way in DOI,not knowing what Thomas's soon-to-be-out book was going to say.
Remember Thomas said Patsy had a tight grip on JB's arm in the Christmas morning photo..and you can partially see that in the photo that was released. It's possible JR was trying to calm her down by getting a few pics..distraction work sometimes. He probably also realized that getting her out of the house...i.e.-going to the White's for dinner, would help as well. And it probably did,for awhile.(I know,I've had to work around these things myself).

I suspect Patsy wasn't happy about the upcoming trip, for one reason, she would have had to watch her temper around the others, and wouldn't be able to show her true feelings, esp. if she and JB got into a disagreement. To someone with BPD,that is frustration at it's finest.

A member of our family is BP and Borderline PD Other things too Let tell you she can be charming and energy plus, must run the show. Her universe centers around herself and look at me. Our grandaughter is now really starting to show some signs that it can be generational that or signs of how it affected her. Tis a train wreck. We do our best to read it and get the help needed and keep encouraging the taking the meds etc. Thats what you do and highly try to disuade them from the appeal of the manic they crave What goes up must come down and usually its on the way down Kaboom. The doctors say that is because they dont want that high to end. I think Christmas was one of the triggers. And its something families dont openly discuss. I cant find that Patsy was ever diagnosed but then you wouldnt have unless there had been a trial.

I haven't posted on JBR in ages and ages, although I occasionally read posts. I have one question:

Assuming Patsy "lost it" and killed JB, where does this leave John? Do you think he knew/knows?

I would think so because there were elements of the staging that would have shown him to be a participant. This is all just opinion based on what I know the facts of the case to be of course.

JR knew, probably right after it happened. He helped a distraught PR stage the accident to look like a kidnapping gone wrong. Why would he do this? Because he had nothing to lose. JBR was dead, there was no bringing her back. Why lose your wife (who had cancer anyway) and have to put your young son through all that too. There may have been business ramifications he was worried about too. So he helped his wife cover up what happened- and as we all know, with the help of their lawyers and a weak and spineless DA's office, not to mention all their money, they got away with it.

Unless John was involved some way before the harming of JB, I just can't see him jeopardizing his life and career for anyone, to include his wife. I can tell you if my husband accidentally killed his child in a fit of rage or otherwise, I would call a lawyer, an ambulance and the police. I would not help by involving myself and setting myself up for possible prosecution. My freedom and my conscience is worth more than that. Patsy must have had something on John. Otherwise, I can't see him doing it.

Ah but there was something Patsy had. Cancer, Cancer=sympathy. There was also something John had that he did not wish to part with, i Prestige reputation. Trophy wife. I honestly think they believed they could sell the intruder story hook line and sinker. It worked.

I think so,too. From the housekeeper's description,it sounds like she may have been having a mixed episode.(highs and lows together,at the same time).

And it is Christmas; she has been up for 16 hours at 10:00 p.m. that evening and she is exhausted and she is going to start again at 5 the next morning. It is possible that the wine she had could have effected her in a negative way, if it were two glasses - she said one or two (the fact that she did not drink often means that it would be even more effective) - she would just have been that much more tired. I think she lost it - but I have a question - do you think the scream was heard coming from the Ramsey's bedroom? It does say that on this site.

I think from the wounds on her neck that she was pushed around before the fatal blow to her head and that is when she screamed and then it was over.

It could have, possibly,I do recall reading they slept w. their window open sometimes.
I also wonder if Patsy took something to help her wind down and get to sleep.I recall they were q'd about Klonopin,I believe.Combined w. alcohol,it could have had a very negative effect on her, unleashing her inhibitions and anger at JB.

I still don't get it. I have a very successful husband and prestige. I would not cover for him. I would not jeopardize my freedom. I can tell you that I know that he would not help me if I committed such an awful crime!! :o

Then I would suggest to you that you have more integrity, I think JR could not bear to think of Burke without a mom who would most likely die in Prison . I know that I would not do those things either. I believe that he was convinced it was some horrific accident or they covering for each other in some pact we will never understand . What you and I would do does not dictate what they did with the circimstances they had to decide on that night. I just cannot see an intruder wish I could it would sure make my life simple if I could. Id rather believe that than a Mom and Dad could have had any part in this but parents do kill their kids every day somewhere on this earth. I wish it were not so but it is.

Absolutely, any downer is a depressant. I had a whole back and forth on CL when it existed and the IDI's argument was that Klonopin or Xanax does not have a negative effect basically. It was like talking to a wall, but then the ever great Rashi came up with a post that talked about the adverse effects of Xanax.

And I was not saying that the drugs caused her to do this, I was saying that everything combined, her being up for 16 hours, her turning 40, her just going through a huge birthday bash, her having to leave the next morning at 5 and then going on the Big Red Boat after that (which means double packing) (I am exhausted thinking about it) and having some wine and MORE THAN LIKELY a few xanax (which by the way are highly addictive - so I really doubt Patsy stopped taking them after she went into remission - the anxiety was still there and so was the dependence). Patsy is so full of %$## that one cannot believe anything she says about the drugs she was taking or NOT TAKING.

My husband took Xanax for years...and decided to try to get off of it himself. He just about went bezerk....losing his memory, etc. Anyway, he would combine it with Alcohol...and made mine and my kids lives hell for about two years. His Dr. took him off of it, and put him on Klonopin...which still makes him MEAN when he combines it with alcohol. Only after putting my foot down and threatening to leave, did he shape up. He still takes the Klonopin, but avoids the alcohol. Life is much better.

..I would also be very interested in how well Patsy was sleeping in the days and weeks before the murder...was she using anything to help her sleep, and was she having any physical symptoms like night sweats (indicates severe anxiety),etc.

I had an imbalance after the bleeds into the brain and strokes I took one Klondipin low dose once a day for about 6 months to help with the anxiety of the disabilties and trying to rehab. I am better off without anything as it turns out. I am still anxious about ever going througn something like that again. But I will say I never have drank alcohol all the Klondipin did was perhaps help with making sleep a little easier.

JMO,

I think Patsy was a daily user of xanax and klonopin or any kind of anxiety reducing drug. She had to be using these drugs during her cancer treatments because how can you survive - it is horrendous. But I do not think she stopped - I know she told one of the detectives, possibly Thomas, or it might have been Kane that she had an anxiety attack after the murder and that she ran to a doctor who told her that is what it was. What is Patsy an idiot that she cannot tell that she is having an anxiety attack. It, imo, was her way of covering her drug use. John said he had no idea that she was using Xanax when Kane asked, yes it was Kane.

John has no idea that his wife who is suspected of killing his daughter, he has no idea that she is taking xanax. And yet they never suspected each other of this horrible crime because they know each other too well and became even closer after it. :bang:

Okay, so if Patsy has been up for some 16 hours at 10:00 p.m .that night and she has had a couple of glasses of wine and we all know that she is taking some kind of barbituate because the woman could not speak on CNN a week later and that is someone who says I need more, I need more and that is someone who is use to taking them and does not realize that she is slurring her words. So she is a user.

We can thank Linda Arndt and a few idiot others for us not knowing what happened.

I recall her saying she had one after the murder, too, and that the Dr. put a drug under her tongue to help ease it away.I don't recall what she said it was;it's in DOI.One she says was started by seeing a house with the same kind of build their house in CO. had.But I have a hard time believing that, since their little 'prayer meeting' with Smit occurred right outside their old house. You would think *that one would be the one that would cause an anxiety attack.

It's too bad she didn't lay down and take a nap that day, perhaps it would have made all the difference. It sounds like she needed a part-time nanny just to deal with JB,if it was still too overwhelming for her to take over completely with both kids, after going into remission.JR should have at least encouraged her to get some rest Christmas day,and taken over watching the kids so she could do so,esp. since they had an upcoming trip planned.
