We don't know Ron's exact work hours, how long he was at work, if he snuck out..ect. LE never said his work hrs. Only that they were satisfied. Ron claims he was working 8hrs making an honest living and his child got stolen.
He could of hit the gun before he went to work and after thinking about LE searching the area he could of retrieved the gun on the way home. Just a thought..

another thought...Perhaps Ron gave them the Baretta...it had not been fired..and was not the one hidden in the culvert...which perhaps HAD been fired...

Just because he said he cleaned it up and gave it to the LE...he may be lying...he gave them a different gun...

Yep, and maybe that is what LE was searching for in the river as well. Misty and Tommy say Joe came to steal a riffle and that caused Haleigh's death. Well, it could be that there is another gun in question that has not been found yet. IMO, Ron has several guns and we don't know if LE ever took the others and if not I would realllllyyyy like to know why.

Item 1: I don't necessarily believe that Joe stole the gun. I believe that Misty and/or Tommy were stealing the gun from Ron. If Joe really did take the gun I believe that money was owed to him and Ron screwed him around on a drug or gun deal. Joe may have been lured over after being told to come get the gun.

Item 3: Why is Chelsea and Misty all involved in a family argument and looking for a gun that belongs to some adult man sleeping with a 16 year old girl. Ron thinks he figured out where to look, but probably had the idea put into his head or knew that someone being chased might throw a gun and dope in a culvert. Maybe Ron knew why it might there in the first place.

Item 8: I believe Haleigh may have died as a result of another incident that night and that there was no plot to go steal the gun. Joe wouldn't need to dress all in black to sneak and wander at night if he drove up, yelled in a rage, with Haleigh screaming, van doors slamming, no blanket on the bedroom window, and brick the door.

Personally, I wonder if the whole family except Flora weren't a big ring of dope dealers.

See, Madj, that's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking maybe he hid the gun prior to leaving for work. If something happened to Haleigh prior to Ron going to work, maybe in a panick Ron put the gun under that culvert, it would be on his way out from Green Ln, wouldn't it?:waitasec: IIRC, LE searched the highway route that Ron would've taken to PDM. IIRC, they said they found items of interest but later came back and said they were not related to this case.:waitasec: So putting all this together, it seems Ron may have scattered the evidence, maybe on his way to PDM or back to PDM that night. It makes me think about the route that the dogs had taken from the mh. Someone seemed to be either lost or looking for a good place to hide some things. And maybe when a car was heard by the dumpster around 1:30am. And there was dogs barking in Tommy's backyard around that night too, wasn't it? I'm thinking that whoever was at the dumpster between 1:30a-2am, I thought maybe someone was there cleaning out their car only, but now, what if the car was parked there but someone went through Tommy's back yard to pick up the gun? Ron admits that he was thinking like a criminal, so maybe he thought it was best that he didn't pull up in front of Tommy's (we saw what happened with Ratgate-Ron truck was spotted), so he decided to park at the dumpster and go through the back. Sorry to ramble, just thinking out loud.

That's what I thought too but if Ron admits that he cleaned it and washed it, could that remove all traces of that gun being fired? Any gun experts here? I know it would help get rid of prints. Most likely, Ron knew what he was doing. JMO though

IMO..If there was an accidental shooting...a person killed..the gun was owned by Ron...the person responsible may claim.."My gun was stolen recently.".

WHY???? Did.Ron hide his gun...on another property...So Joe could not find it....OR...to claim to the LE investigation..that his gun was stolen.... right before Haleigh's disappearance...

I'm willing to bet the gun Ron gave the LE was NOT the one Ron hid...

Hmmm...there was also the Memorial Bridge search where LE was looking for a gun. LE claimed it was about a murder case in another county (Volusia, IIRC) and had nothing to do with Haleigh. But, what if...?

:waitasec: I have wondered since day one if Ron or TN trucks were ever checked by LE. To my knowledge they were not, only the van, Tommy's red truck, and Nay Nay's or Ambers car were checked from what I have heard. After Ron got his new truck it made me think that maybe Haleigh had been in his truck, not the van. Same way Ron would not go back in the MH for what ever reason, maybe that is why he got another truck?
Or did he get another truck? LOL, I am in getting so confused..:loser:

Something else, LE took Ron's barreta the day the missing child report was filed, do they still have it as evidence? Or did they give it back to Ron? They let Ron keep his riffle I assume, he did put it in his mouth in front of Jr. and threated to blow Misty's head off if he found out she knew anything.
I am thinking if LE still has that barreta it's for a reason, washed or not I would think a lab would be able to tell at least if it had recently been used. I would hope so anyway, these days labs can do so much.

Something else I question. Ron and Misty were fighting the night before due to her leaving on her 3 day drug/party binge and I would assume they also agrued about the so called pregnancy.
I would also assume if they were fighting that nobody else was around except for Haleigh and Jr. Unless they were staying with TN or GGMS.

We hear that Misty picked Haleigh up from the Bus stop, Chelsea claims that is the last time she saw Haleigh there with Ron being the one that picked up Haleigh. Why would the bus stop parents say it was Misty there instead of Ron? Why would Chelsea lie as well?

Then we have Misty and Chelsea saying that Joe is crazy, Misty claims Joe molested her. They were both putting the blame on Joe early on as well as Ron. But they did not mention the fight Misty and Ron had and her leaving for 3days for him rolling her up in a ball when he thought she was pregnant by a black man. At this time she had not slept with WBG, so who is this other mysterious Black Man?
Could this other black man be a drug/gun dealer? Ron claims he had no enemies, yet throws Joe under the bus for stealing his gun. Assaults Misty because she claimed she may of been pregnant by a black man and Ron went into a rage...I would call that having two enemies right there. What did Ron due for those 3 days that Misty was parting? I doubt he just sat back and forgot about it. Did he go try and find the black man that may of impregnated Misty? Did he go searching for Misty? Did he hang out with Tommy and Joe that weekend?

Ron said on the 911 tape if he found out who stole his daughter he would kill them, yet he made claims about Joe early on and did nothing. Why?

Why did he need to hide his gun in the first place? You would think he would of kept it in his possession, what could of been the real reason for hiding the gun and where was the riffel?

Why did Misty and Chelsea claim they were the ones that retrieved the gun?
Yet, Ronald says he was the one that retrieved it, sprayed it-cleaned it, and turned it over to LE.

Misty claims that she had to sleep with a gun under her pillow in case anyone would break in...Ron claimed nobody knew where they lived with the exception of the Cummings, Croslin, Nay Nay-Amber. Who was he afraid of then?
And if Misty was home taking care of the children that night, why was there no gun there for her to use to protect the children/home with? Out of all the nights she had to sleep with a gun under her pillow the night that Haleigh gets stolen the gun is not there...but it is there when Ron shows up and he gives it to LE..LE said the gun was in the residence, how did it get back in the residence?
So, we have a stolen gun that appears when 911 is called to report Haleigh stolen.

But no sign of Haleigh? LE says that Haleigh was last seen in the Hermits Cove area between 8PM-10PM Feb 9th...
Tommy was home watching his kids until Lyndsey got home from school at 10:15PM. She claimed earlier that Tommy was asleep next to her.

Chelsea claims Timmy was home asleep next her because he was on pain meds due to an accident. Yet it is mentioned in the Cobra tapes that Timmy was awake around 12:30AM-1:00AM.

Joe did not know Haleigh was missing until Chelsea got the call at 4AM, he was in Chelsea's MH at that time as well.

Chelsea was up late doing insurance paperwork, she would of known if Joe had taken that van or not! She had "JUST" went to bed right before the call regarding Haleigh.

The van was taken into the lab and analyzed and given back...if anything would of been found in the van LE would of not released it. Just like LE still has Casey Anthony's car in the forensics bay for over 2 yrs now.

So, did LE not check the right vehicles? IMO, I would say they didn't and still wonder why they have not.
Ron got caught selling drugs, why didn't LE impound his trucks? Isn't that what they normally do? I wonder if it is still parked at Rita lane. If I am not mistaken from GER's pictures that is where he had parked it.

We all questioned his reason for getting a newer truck right after Haleigh was reported missing. Maybe that was the truck that was used to transport a dead Haleigh? :waitasec:He could of taken her to work with him and snuck out to have her disposed? Just thinking out loud here.

I just read your post (great post, btw) and it make me think of something else. Misty turns off her phone around 8:30pm and Ron supposedly called Tommy around 9pm. Tommy didn't get to the mh on Green Ln. until around 10pm. Lindsay didn't get home until around 10pm. So maybe that's why it took so long for Tommy to get to the mh...he had to wait until Lindsay got home before he could go around there. For some reason I think at this time, Tommy was called in to help with the situation, and I think Ron is the one who recruited him.
