No clue, I didn't start posting it. Someone else posted it earlier in the thread. (Maybe a mod, don't remember.)
I just noticed that they had the same information as everywhere else... just more condensed.
Faster to post that then to search articles and pull out pieces from articles. Letting that person do that for me. :seeya:

Well, from what I've seen and read, the explosions were aimed at the watching crowds, not the runners. You will get the most people crowded up by the finish and also - if you desire media coverage - that's where the camera will be. Comments suggest that in previous marathons, this is the time when the bulk of the runners will be finishing, so that suggests it was chosen to maximise the number of people around.
The route had been swept for explosives prior, therefore the bombs had to have been brought in close to or during the race. Again, in this area you are likely to have a lot of people who are bringing items for their friends, so you might not even look twice at someone carrying two or more rucksacks if they look like they're supporting runners.
Death is bad.. but injury can be so much worse, so it's a much more effective terror tool. For those of you unfortunate enough to have seen some of the very graphic images, that will stick in your mind. Yes, we know an 8yo boy is dead, and it's sad, but the images of the injured that I've seen will stick with me for a long time.

For me, the person or group responsible planned this out very carefully.

Actually, I'm even more curious to compare large sales & buyouts over the past few weeks & compare those go the falls that are inevitable tomorrow... I'm also inclined to look at the money makers as well.

Same here. I was reading here to catch up so I did not have MSM on my tv while my kiddos are still up. Did not think those types of pictures would be posted here.

Me either. I didn't read the small text above them just scrolled down to the photos. I have now learned my lesson!

Okay. I spend all this time sifting through the stuff on Twitter, and making sure the tweets I post are legitimate reporters, news stations, LE. Guess I don't need to do that.

Yes, the photo of the little girl is not valid. Please go back and remove your quotes/posts if you can! If PBS can be fooled, so can I, I guess.....Even MODS can goof sometimes. Sigh. I've asked a MOD with rights in this forum to review also.

I did check to make sure everything they were posting that I posted, had been posted in MSM.
I try to follow what the mods are doing. Since mods were allowing that I figured it was acceptable.
Was just trying to answer some of the questions that people had.

As a gun owner who has a CCW....and am well trained in shooting and protecting myself....I do not fear guns....I fear terror such as this because I cannot protect myself nor anyone around me.

Reality just sunk in....that no place is truly safe except maybe my own home.

Yeah I agree, I hope it isn't preppers/militias, or WN. But it was more than one lone nut so there had to be a cause.

Why has the hospital been in lock down for HOURS??? A sophisticated terror unit would have an escape plan and they wouldn't need to go into a hospital to kill an accomplice.
