ETA....he believes that these type of terrorists are learning our ways of security and learning how to get CLOSE (rather than far away like 911 and planes).

Get "close"??? Learning our ways?

9/11 was utter shock and awe. A brilliant and extremely well thought out plan (Tis true, that much damage on a small budget? Brilliant.). Whomever did this was an amateur.

Yes, they were talking about that earlier... All the runners' items, plus all items dropped by onlookers as hey ran from the explosions. Everything will have to be treated as suspicious and examined.

Oh no, I was afraid more would pass. Prayers to those lost, injured, terrorized and their families.

There was no warning. They were posted as images in the thread. We didn't have the choice whether we 'went there'. They were HERE.

I am thrilled the photo was sent to LE. There are many roof top gardens, patios, gathering places in Boston, so it may be something benign. Hopefully the person in the picture will surface quickly.

If it is connected to the bombing, raine

I'm new to twitter too, but this was posted early on and just by the pic, I can see the death toll rising. . .

I have heard of up to 12 killed in the bombing. Most report 3 killed. Frankly, I think the death toll is likely to rise. I hope I do not offend anyone, if the death toll remains at 3, it would be miraculous considering that the area was crowded and there a scene of blood and body parts.

yeah, they are trying to get up close and personal with their victims now IE. a crowd of people on the ground. they know they cant get a bomb on a plane...they cant shoot missiles, because we will intercept. crowds are a prime target now....you can easily walk thru a crowd and cause mass destruction. cant easily walk thru a crowd with a big ol gun....everyone is super vigilant with guns and seeing one would raise alarm right away.

unfortunately, maybe this is a test. I hope im really wrong.

Special, special prayers for the man being helped by Carlos Arredondo. Carlos lost his son in Iraq in 2007 and is a well known peace activist with his own pain. He is here for a reason.

Thanks Believe, after leaving the scanner I started searching photos and found this. Still looking at more photos to see if I can see anything else

Based on the photos I accidently saw I would not be surprised either.

Something I saw talked about on another news site but now it's on CNN.

updated 9:17 PM EDT, Mon April 15, 2013

"Doctors are "pulling ball bearings out of people in the emergency room," the expert said, suggesting the bombs were designed to propel shrapnel."

ETA another quote from same article:
One unexploded device was found at a hotel on Boylston Street near the bomb site and another unexploded device was found at an undisclosed location, Keating, a Democrat and member of the House Homeland Security committee, said, calling the bombing a "sophisticated, coordinated, planned attack."

Wow!!! Good eyes and it appears to be wearing all black too.

Too far away to say but I think that person has blue jeans on. It could be just someone watching the marathon-looks like there is a table or chairs there? Of course it's a good idea to send in a tip because you never know.
