I dunno. It looks to me like it could be somebody with a grudge against the marathon or somebody running it. I guess it would still be terrorism but more like mass murder.

My prayers go out to those who died and were injured. There's a special place for people who perpetrate such crimes.

It is, in my opinion, yet another false flag. How many is that in the last twelve months?

Just curious - in what sense to you consider this a ruse de guerre - a "false flag"? It's an interesting term.

This bomb description does not sound like a Taliban or Al Quada device to me. It sounds more like Domestic Terrorism, imo.

ETA: On CNN they just said these were like ones used in Afghanistan, so I guess I am wrong.

This statement is way over the top. There will no profiling of anyone who's mulsim/arab. There will be no profile of every white person either. However, they certainly will be profiling men between the ages of 20 to 35, arab and white, whom LE considers anti-social.

It's not like Boston LE /mayor/etc. to lie to the public. They have "we won't comment on that" down to a science, and they're good at carefully worded prevarications that when you read them closely don't say what they seem to say, but if they said in so many words that there were only two devices, then I believe there were only two devices.
