Okay, I'll take it there is a suspect. Don't know about arrest, but most likely. Don't know if suspect is correct perp. Going to question some guy that dropped a back pack.

Anybody know if Boston has one of those sites that shows people who have been recently apprehended/booked? I know in other cases there were websites that other sleuthers used to see if an arrest had been made.

Don't know, but it may not show up until tomorrow. By then a photo will be all over the news. This being a Federal case though, I don't think local jail will be booking the guy. He'll be at the U.S. Marshall's. Or should be.

Lord & Taylor is across the street and about in the center of the second bomb sites. The camera is on the upper corner right hand side of the building. At the intersection of Ring St. and Boylston St. The way it is positioned depending on the eye of the camera it appears to have a view of both bombing sites. jmo

My Welsh Great Grandfather had ruddy cheeks and a bulbous nose...maybe that? :what:

I should have specified "black Welsh," which signifies someone with a darker-skinned Celtic bloodline original to the beginnings of the Celtic tribes who slowly drifted north from their beginnings just above what is now North Africa. A better-known signifier of this phenomenon is the term "black Irish." Same origins but wound up in a different place.

I believe someone pointed out that particular camera in the first thread, and said they hoped it was a working camera. Good eyes sleuther!

A source tells CNN an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings.

The arrest came after analysis of two separate videos of one of the two explosions, which killed three and injured more than 180 people.

The clear video image shows the suspect placing a package and leaving the site, sources tell the Herald and CNN. The package matches a description of what police are looking for. The video used is from the Lord and Taylor store nearby at 760 Boylston Street, sources say.

They also have a facial image of a suspect, CNN reports. Herald sources are not giving a description of the suspect.

If all they had was a photo and there were no tips (from folks with insider knowledge) it sounds like the guy may be local and/or have some sort of criminal history.
