Farrah Fawcett in critical conditionUPDATE Has Passed away RIP

  • #201
Saw a snippet of Ryan O'Neal's interview with Barbara and he said he had asked Farrah to marry him. She could hardly respond, it seems, but did get the word "prenup" out! I thought that showed a bit of humor in her! What an interesting love story the two of them had...much more interesting than the movie Ryan is famous for!

I missed the special but I saw the clip of Ryan O'Neal saying that they would marry before she died.
Obviously, she still had all her faculties as it didn't happen:)

Rest in peace Farrah, a beautiful person inside and out. Prayers to her family and friends.

LOL Great comment! Thanks for the laugh, the last few days have been grim.

I watched the Today show this morning, they had hours long coverage of MJ's passing, while FF's death received a 10 second mention. Her courage & use of humor throughout her battle with cancer was touching.

Farrah Fawcett's jailed son Redmond O'Neal granted pass to attend her funeral after her cancer death

[I
Redmond O'Neal, behind bars at the Pitchess Detention Center in California, will be escorted by deputies of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to the sad farewell.

O'Neal, 24, can trade his prison-issue outfit for a suit and tie before the funeral at a downtown Los Angeles cathedral for the late "Charlie's Angels" star."

Well as a 51 year old, I feel both Farrah and MJ's deaths quite keenly. I am sorry Redmond is in jail, but hope this will kick him in the 🤬🤬🤬. I say, "Good-bye, Angel." She was a kick-🤬🤬🤬 actress - witness Burning Bed. And he was a hell of an entertainer and musician. Both testaments to our generation, with all its strengths and flaws. I feel like crying. We were little kids at the same time.

I am so sorry that Farrah didn't make it.
Like Eve said, I remember " Charlie's Angels"- I watched it while doing my homework.

I always thought Farrah was the only " pretty one" on the show. Finally when I was 21, I had her hair and figure. Never did have that great huge smile with all those teeth though, LOL. She was such a beautiful lady.

Now, I think that outer beauty matters less when compared to matters of health and extreme illness like hers.. I wish she had chosen a more traditional path of cancer treatment, including radical surgical intervention.

She was a true beauty from early adolescence until the last photos of her were published during her bout with cancer. Guys wanted to be with her and girls wanted to be like her. :) The true measure of an enduring icon of her era.

RIP beautiful lady. You are in a place without any more pain or paparazzi.

For anyone who has yet to see "Farrah's Story", it is playing all weekend on MSNBC and OXGN.
I have not watched it yet, I better buy some kleenex.

Oh my gosh! That Dating Game clip was AWESOME! Farrah was so sweet! I didn't know she was an artist? Doesn't surprise me, though. Wow! Talk about a blast from the past!

My heart will be at her memorial that day, she has it even in death. What an inspiration to survivors like myself.
I hope she has the most beautiful, precious service ever, and the media leaves her alone now.
RIP Farrah.

It's freaking MJ 25 HOURS A DAY!!! Good lord when will it stop. I freaking tune into HLN and want to get a news broadcast and all I get is a MJ lovefest. There isn't any channel that carries news that isn't having the 25 hour a day MJ lovefest. :banghead:

Make it stop!Make it stop!Make it stop!

Unfortunately, it's going to be a while before it stops. News, news, news until the results of the toxicology report are known. The funeral, and possibly charges against people for supplying him with drugs. Oh, and don't forget the fight the family and Debbie Rowe will probably have over the children.

While I'm saddened by both deaths, I am more saddened by the way this "angel" was just shoved aside like her life didn't matter. While I am happy for ryan/alana, that they are being left alone, and farrah is having a private service.....IMO we should be seeing memorials and tributes to her :(

If you haven't seen Barbara Walters' special that was broadcast on the day of Farrah's death, I highly suggest it! I just sat down and watched it - finally! I learned a lot more about Farrah and saw some of her artwork.

Ryan O'Neal looked so helpless! I just wanted to give him a huge hug! I wonder how he is doing now?
