Officials: release of Wetterling state-investigative documents still several weeks away – Twin Cities

Unless I'm reading this wrong, it looks like what the Wetterlings requested to be excluded was among a large chunk of documents being returned to the FBI, but those can be accessed through a FOIA request. It still looks like we'll be able to access the other documents in the coming weeks.

Like a lot of you, I left this case behind shortly after Heinrich's confession, but it will still be interesting to see what tips LE had in front of them, and of those tips, would any of them have led to Heinrich.
