Fess Parker, TV's `Davy Crockett,' dies at 85

So sad. I had such a crush on him when I was a kid and watched him on TV as Daniel Boone. (I'm way too young to remember him as Davy Crockett.)

Wow. Does this bring back memories. I remember watching reruns of Davy Crockett on the Wonderful World of Disney, back in the good old days. Parker made a very handsome Crockett

I also remember watching Daniel Boone as a little kid and having a crush on him. Sounds like he had a long and happy life -- may he RIP.

Oh wow I haven't thought about Davy Crockett in ages. Although I never had a crush on Fess Parker because I was only three or four yrs. old when Davy Crockett was on television. But,apparently I was a big "tom boy" and must have loved Davy,because I have pictures of myself wearing a Davy Crockett jacket and hat.I was told I also had a Davy Crockett lamp,the lamp shade revolved and had different scenes of Davy.:thumb:
