Edit- I'm not sure why there is a find a grave for him as a John Doe! He is listed as missing not unidentified Doe. Very strange.

Some town clerks will allow you to look at death records depending on the state. Some of them are filed under John Doe, Unidentified female. etc. Sometimes they will tell you where they are buried but not a specific gravemarker.

Those reports of a serial killer turned out to be false as there was no serial killer after young boys in the area at that time..... it’s so sad. It really sounds like this boy had a hard life if you read his doe network bio. They said he reported he had been in his own for a long time.....and “worked” truck stops. As a mom my heart breaks and I’ve been down a whole on missing children seeing if he was ever reported missing....
