Fire completely destroys Crestline Elementary School in Vancouver

My cousin is a 4th grade teacher here and lost everything for her students - 5 years worth of decor, personal library...everything. I'm so saddened!

VANCOUVER – A three-alarm fire completely destroyed Crestline Elementary School in Vancouver early Sunday morning.
Officials said the blaze broke out around 3:17 a.m. at the school on Southeast 7th Street, which quickly ripped through the building rendering it a complete loss.

Thank God, nobody was hurt.

Neighbors told KGW they heard children running around the school and others reported hearing fireworks overnight.

Federal, state and local investigators were working to determine the cause of the blaze, but could not enter Sunday because the building was too hot.

Looks like the cause might be fireworks.
