the link just posted above says

Stretton has even filed paperwork to try and force the Bracamontes OUT of their own home

i can't even begin to imagine on what grounds this would be remotely possible ???

<snipped>Marcella </snipped>told MailOnline in June: 'Ralphy says ‘Mummy I don’t love Diane anymore, I was going to marry her, but not anymore, she hurts my heart’.

'He’s four, and he loved her, he loved her like grandma, he would give her hugs. They were real close and then all of a sudden she didn’t want nothing to do with them anymore.'

<snipped>[....]

'I called three references… I can’t get blamed for her not being honest with me. She seemed nice.

I wonder who the 3 references were and what they said. I'd like to hear from them if they really exist.

I'm glad she's finally out of their house and hair.

I had a boss who was from Iran. Friends and relatives would come to visit him with the impression they'd only be staying for 2 or 3 weeks. Well, weeks would turn into months. I don't remember if anyone stayed for over a year, but he didn't know how to get them to leave. He finally sold his house and started renting an apartment. That way, he could tell friends and relatives who wanted to come visit that he didn't have enough room to accommodate them, so they would have to arrange their own lodging.

This is so wrong!! She is vile and someone needs to put an end to it. If the laws cannot stop her...the laws need to be changed. In the meantime, people on the outside of that home need to make her life a living hell (legally). If there is a way to prevent her from receiving services in the area...do it. If there is a way to cause her inconveniences...do it. There should be a group of lawyers working to find ways to legally take the woman apart and stop the insanity for this poor family (and other families).

You are right about this situation, if the laws cannot stop her - then the law needs to be changed. The laws are there to protect people, in cases like this the innocent people are the home owners, the cause of the problem is the "Nanny" who would not leave when asked. Clearly there needs to be a law protecting the homeowner and making it possible to make an unwelcome person leave the house.
I think Stretton has a mental problem. She really needs a psychiatrist more than all the lawyers she has used. I wonder how much worse things can get for her before she is forced to get psychiatric help.
I very much doubt her children will have anything more to do with her. Her sisters are finished with her. She has used up the only friends she had resulting in unwelcome publicity. She will have to be forced to seek help. I pity any future victims.

IMO the homeowners got off very easy.
What they did was incredibly stupid. They entrusted the children to a complete stranger they found on Craig's List. They sought out and opened their home to a whackadoo...it could have just as easily been far far worse.

I hope they learned something.

Good riddance! 'Nightmare nanny' Diane Stretton no longer living inside ex-employers' home
BBM. This article is misleading. She had already stopped living there, but she still has things there, so really nothing's changed.

Diane Stretton, the ex-nanny who 'squatted' inside a California family's home after being hired off of Craigslist, is now out.

CBSLosAngeles reported Wednesday that Stretton, 64, is no longer living inside the Bracamonte family's Upland residence.

Some of her belongings are still there
, the station said.
