Fired Michigan coach Sherrone Moore in police custody after dismissal.

"...What we haven't heard yet is Sherrone Moore's side of this - and he gets his say in this particular situation as well,' Schefter told First Take..."
Schefter isn't defending what Sherrone did but he has a point in listening to SM's side.
That relationship with a staffer is going to get you booted from many professions, though.

Also from above link :

Then on Thursday, Moore was accused of attacking a woman with a knife after stalking her for months.

According to police dispatch audio, obtained by the Daily Mail, the woman in question claimed Moore assaulted her on Wednesday evening, with the call made from an address in Ann Arbor belonging to a Michigan football employee at around 4pm.

I've looked for more information but cannot find if any injuries happened so was it a verbal threat ?
Not good if so, but is this a, 'he said she said' altercation ?
Is there proof he broke in and wasn't let/allowed in, etc.

Not trying to defend him as it sounds from the article he fled after police were called and was apprehended elsewhere.
Innocent men don't run.

I do think Sherrone is finished career-wise and prob. no other uni. is going to touch him.
Imo.
I don’t know… look at Bobby Petrino. He’s right back where he started - at Arkansas!

Do you think that the girlfriend has grounds for a lawsuit? Personally, I think I would have looked for another job because of the toxic environment. But then, she got that huge raise….

JMO, IMO, MOO!

She can definitely sue because her "boss" had relations with her. For public humiliation. She could sue the University and say he had promised her a promotion but only later it became obvious that there were strings attached. A lot of this would be he said she said but the bottom line is he cannot have relations with a subordinate.

Yes, I watched it.
Respectfully -- Yes, I do understand what you're saying, and Schefter could have addressed the knife incident.
Wonder why Schefter seems to want to compartmentalize/minimize/ignore that, though-- if that's what he is doing ?
Makes it look like to that particular Uni., sports is god above all else.
Moore will get to air his side in court, though, at the trial for the assault and inappropriate relationship.
Omo.
What about his victims, the younger staffer who he abused his power over and assaulted. AND HIS FAMILY. HE THREW THEM AWAY FOR AN AFFAIR/INFATUATION. How is it that a man can take his job duties seriously but when it comes to caring about his wife and kids feelings it doesnt 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 matter to him. Power corrupts men. It is SICKENING.

What appears unfortunate, as others indicate, is the ESPN reporter’s perspective on what is ‘sad and tragic’.

IMO what is sad and tragic, is that this apparent relationship might have been going on for some time it appears. Exactly how long is to be learned perhaps. And that this was allowed to occur, and to affect both individuals but the young woman as well. It was after all, a superior subordinate working situation IIUC. SMH

I found the wording in an earlier release from the university interesting. In post #10 above from @Chimera ….. the university stated I believe publicly ‘additional evidence came to light in the last 24 hours that led to Moore's dismissal.'

IMO that terminology is troubling. And leads me to conclude it might be a way of acknowledging there was some prior awareness available. And one has to wonder what was known, when, and what was done when or not done IMO? Time will tell.

Sadly also, it appears that more importance and prominence perhaps should be placed on education, academics, and learning. Contrasted perhaps with the sports. MOO

I was speaking out in defense of his victims, that's why I mentioned Schefter may have minimized Sherrone's charges which are now public knowledge.
You may have misread my post.
The university should not have tolerated this for as long as it did.
Imo.

I read in another article, that the woman involved had been given raises, without a change in duties.
RSM. This is incorrect. The raise coincided with a job change. She went from a recruiting and operations coordinator to the executive assistant to the head coach. Now that opens a whole other host of issues about when their relationship started

To be fair, Petrino never got arrested. And ended up coaching one of the greatest players in college football history, Lamar Jackson, during his redemption tour lol

I was agreeing with you. Sorry I went off, this kind of thing gets me heated.

Some thoughts on that. First of all, Schefter is a sports reporter not a crime reporter, so his focus is on how these events affect college football. He's not really concerned about the actual consequences that the victim faces. Second, a lot of sports reporting is about maintaining relationships. I'm not saying Schefter did anything unethical, but by carrying water for Moore, he may have put himself in good graces with someone important who could give him a scoop down the line. Third, Schefter is a UofM grad, and has a reputation of being something of a homer.

The prosecutor during Sherrone Moore’s arraignment lays out some pretty damaging details regarding his arrest and the charges.

The prosecutor says Moore and the victim, allegedly his executive assistant, had an intimate relationship for a number of years. According to the prosecutor, the victim broke up with Moore on Monday morning. Moore continued to call and text the victim. She ignored them. She then told University of Michigan officials, who fired Moore on Wednesday.

The prosecutor says Moore then went to the victim’s apartment, barged his way inside and grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began to threaten his own life. “I’m going to kill myself,” the prosecutor alleges Moore said to victim. “I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.”

Will there be any more women who come forward? I wonder.

quoting you twice. What ruined his life is his behavior after getting fired. He would have been picked up by another outfit after the dust settled. But no, enter 3rd degree stalking, talk of killing himself and rumors of recent mental health issues - that is the problem here.

Honestly sounds he may have some issues to work out. I hope he gets the help needed.

According to university policy, a supervisor may not initiate or attempt to initiate an intimate relationship with someone over whom they exercise supervisory authority. But the relationship wasn’t the only issue that triggered complaints about Moore.

At least two other women told university officials that Moore had made unwanted advances toward them online, the person familiar said.

His social media following lists are certainly something... As someone who works in the industry, I’m shocked no one from Michigan ever got involved and told him to clean that stuff up. That’s happened at multiple places I’ve worked so it’s wild one of the blue blood programs wasn’t monitoring that/didn’t care

Tsk, tsk, Sherrone.
You had it all compared to many of us who work hard at our jobs, and are never offered an opportunity like that.
And you basically threw it away.
Smh.

He's going to be untouchable by any colleges, no one is going to hire him now !
If his wife is planning to leave him and is boxing up his belongings and filing paperwork for child support and alimony, no one would blame her.
He may be out of a job now but was making a good amount, hopefully she will take him for as much as she can.
Again he has treated her and his young kids disgracefully; unfortunately those little ones will grow up with this hanging over them.

An
OnlyFans model has claimed that disgraced Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore had 'slid into' her DMs prior to his shocking arrest and sacking.

On Wednesday, Moore was sacked for an 'inappropriate relationship' with a staffer and, just hours later, was detained for assault at an apartment complex in Ann Arbor.

Pittsfield Police responded to the apartment
on the 3000 block of Ann Arbor Saline Road at 4.10pm Wednesday, just moments before it was publicly announced that Moore was fired from his $6 million-per-year coaching job.

Here in this article ^^^ it looks like Sherrone had even more people he misused ?

Ironically if he'd quietly accepted his firing and walked away he might have been hired by another college !

But no, he had to go and threaten a lady with a knife.
I'm starting to think he did break in very forcefully, and maybe the cops saw evidence, just that it's not public yet.
Did Sherrone kick the door in ?
Break a window ?

There's a reference to some kind of social interactions with P. Diddy as well ?
From the DM article :

"Moore, back in 2018, claimed he attended an event held by disgraced music mogul P Diddy...."

Imo.
