Fired Michigan coach Sherrone Moore in police custody after dismissal.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore barged into a former lover's home and threatened to kill himself, telling her that his "blood is on your hands," prosecutors said Friday.

Moore, 39, was charged with alleged home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering, following his shocking arrest and termination from one of the sport’s most prestigious jobs.

The alleged home invasion is a felony while the other two charges were filed as misdemeanors against Moore, who has been held at the Washtenaw County jail — about 4 miles from Michigan Stadium where he’d been head of the storied Wolverines football program...

Question. Would the recruited class of 2025, to include Bryce Underwood, be able to sue if it is proven that the affair was known about prior to their commitments to the University?

I doubt that. But they can definitely look around at other places to go.

The coach said he was seeking some non-sexual fun — but the then-offensive coordinator made the NSFW proposition.

“[Sherrone] was offering me and 2 other onlyfans girls season tickets in exchange for a 4 sum [sic] hotel fun,” Sorety told Outkick, using text lingo for four-person group sex.

“I declined because I’m already rich and can buy my own tickets,” she said.

Probably?? As of right now though, that would be wasted time and effort. Starting January 2nd he can transfer where ever he wants and he’d certainly have plenty of options

Got it. Thanks that makes sense.

The woman at the center of disgraced Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore's affair scandal has kept her job with the school's athletic department, according to a report.

Some interesting comments below the TMZ link from a d_8.
Curious if this will be settled out of court and if Moore will somehow emerge unscathed enough to coach somewhere else ?
Not saying he should.
But everyone will have their own opinion about that.

Also wondering if his wife will stay loyal to Sherrone ?
Imo.

In the aftermath of the scandal, two football recruits have decommitted from Michigan as the school continues to grapple with the fallout.

So at face value, she broke up with him and went to the school with proof of the relationship.. maybe photos of them together or whatever. That's when the school started their own investigation and had enough by Wednesday to fire him.

Who knows what made her want to break up... but there was obviously some spite involved for her to come forward to the university.
I respectfully disagree that it was spite. To me it looks like she was looking out for her own safety. After all he fired her (against advice to transfer her) AND showed up at her house with a knife when she broke up with him. I would say making sure that someone with some authority over him knew what was going on was very wise on her part.

And I wonder how many current players will enter the transfer portal.

Firing her, transferring her, or alienating her by not working closely with her (she was the admin assistant to him) are all forms of retaliation and are all illegal. MOO The fact that anybody in that organization advised him to do any of those things reflects a deep cultural issue. The entire staff needs to go.

Agreed. This has contaminated the entire place. I don't mean "everyone" needs to go, but they definitely need some training, and oversight from the University. What a mess for their program. It takes time to develop a winning team, and management.

There are plenty of excellent coaches to choose from not so sure an internal hire would be a good option here.

I can't think of many Division 1 coaches who would want to step in to the current mess. They may have to look into Division 2 or promote a internal assistant coach. They are already losing some commitments and the portal will be opening next month.

LSU won a bidding war for a new coach over Florida and Ole Miss, even with their state government getting involved in firing, but not actually firing, then really firing their HC and AD lol. And after the governor very publicly tried to screw Brian Kelly out of his entire buyout.

Michigan will have no problem poaching from a good FBS program. The gap in resources and prestige from top tier, Big 10 and SEC jobs is truly that outrageous.

It definitely seems to be a cultural issue. They fired their president four years ago for the same behavior:

Kind of. He reached a settlement where he was to take a year off while receiving 463k. Since he was previously tenured he came back as a teacher in 2023.

Yes, I would say there is going to be a lawsuit...

Rumors about Moore’s extracurricular activities had been rampant around the program but matters came to a head this week when Moore was advised not to work directly with the staffer, Maize and Blue Review reported.

When Moore decided to fire the woman instead of transferring her elsewhere in the football program or the athletic department, she reportedly came forward with details of their alleged affair.

Fresh from his firing, the ousted coach is then said to have left the football facility and headed straight to Shiver’s apartment.

IF the statements above are true, then that makes me think that the coach threw the girl under the bus saying "she is trying to make it seem like I made advances on her... so I don't want to be alone with her. I don't trust her. Assign her elsewhere or terminate her." or something like that. If he told the Michigan administration that lie, then when she came forward with concrete proof, then his lie was exposed.

Yep looks like they both probably lied about the scope of the relationship. Being upset that she broke things off with him, he decided to fire her rather than reassign her. And then she told the full story.

I'm glad she's safe because it takes 2 to tangle and this isn't all in her. I do wonder if she will continue to have a job and also wonder if she had previously informed the school he was stalking her.
